It really struck a chord with me because I'm a college student surrounded by professors who talk just like Milo Stewart. I'm not even joking.

My literature professor told the class that the word 'crazy' was ableist and that we shouldn't use it. This was really dumb for two reasons: One, we were reading a short story about a guy who was tripping balls while being in a horrific accident. Two, I have like half the disorders in the DSM, as diagnosed by a licensed psychiatrist. It was the most condescending thing I'd ever heard.

I think we've all had that one professor that was overly PC for whatever reasons and enforced those arbitrary rules in their class.

Lucky for me, the professor might have been a douche but my TAs were awesome.
