Last post for awhile. Evidence of the flying monkeys cult-like behaviour. Anytime a member disagrees with Devon everyone must choose a side. If they stay neutral or agree with the dissenting party they will be ostracized from the group. One member Kfox picked the "wrong" side. Apparently he did not like being ostracized so he re-created himself, infiltrated different chat groups and started ratting dissenters out to get back in Devon Tracey's favour.

I hate to play devil's advocate on my part but I actually really like Devon Tracey. One aspect of Devon I like is just how confrontational he is.
A big reason why I watch his videos is actually because he goes after popular figures and says a lot of what people want to say, except he says it and has absolutely no fear about it. I actually first heard about him after watching a video where he went after the Atheist Experience.
I used to watch the Atheist Experience for many years but stopped after their frequent apologetics for muslims. And the fact he calls out Russel Glasser so often for being so passive aggressive is something I felt really delighted by.
Indeed his videos where he goes after his critics like the Canadian Atheist are some of his best content entirely because of how well he completely nullifies everything they said almost in an instant. Every AIU video I've watched is almost mesmerizing in just how he completely belittles their argument within just a few minutes. I remember being actually surprised he was a liberal and was against things like the second amendment because of how anti muslim he was.
Given how hyperbolic he is I can easily see why he has followers and why he incites so much ire. And it's hard to not admire someone who never gives an inch in a conversation ever.
To me Devon is a person who is as confrontational as he is largely because of the rise of things like social justice warriors and how idle people are in confronting them. And it is very cathartic to watch someone who is able to summon up so much aggression toward something you dislike.

Devon is good at bringing up things that you wouldn't think about at first, yes. He'll go after bigger people and call out bullshit, no question.
I think what most people have against him however, is that he has this following that is more or less a bunch of idiots that go full beserk on anyone that "harms" their Roo and that Devon gets an high from having his "flying monkeys".
That he's so far up his butt, half of his videos consist of just insulting the person, instead of making good arguments (They are in there, yea, but if you boil it down, the videos are two quarters insults, one quarter actual arguments and one quarter some wierd video/song mashup) or talking about how exalted he is above them.

I came here to post about the hacking and doxing. You guys are going to love this.
Yeah, so his twitter got hacked and his parents got doxed. He made a video about Bernie supporters protesting at the DNC. He mocked them for not supporting Hillary Clinton and talked about how much he hates Trump for a bit. The video received a lot of backlash. Devon went on a banning spree. Then it was revealed to Devon that most of his fans are Trump supporters according to a strawpoll, which he promptly went on another banning spree on twitter. Many insults and ban hammers later, the video goes private (I have a copy), twitter gets hacked, and his parents get doxed. The FBI and police got called as well. Devon is now sad and depressed (poor baby). Other than a live stream talking about the situation, he has been silent.
