if Doake's intro in this isn't some sort of play on "SURPRISE, MOTHAFUCKA!" then the show will have failed

I'm only one episode in and I have to say the actors are doing a pretty damn good job of imitating the characters from the series. Yeah, Batista and the chink are ridiculously 2-dimensional but I'm going to blame the writers for that. I don't hate it so far and that is amazing seeing as how it was made in fucking 2024. I still have 9 episodes to go though. 
One thing that is really distracting me is "teenage Dexter" sounding like he smokes a carton of Lucky Strikes a day and looking like a middle aged Liquid Chris.
