Did the moon landing really happen?

Then there's Bart Sibrel -- he's a bit annoying, but his "astronauts gone wild" documentary is insane. Not one astronaut able to just calmly assert that he'd been to the Moon. Just aggression, hedging, nervousness. If someone starts questioning whether I've ever been to Kroger I wouldn't act like that.
If someone tried to accuse me of being a purple crocodile from the 9th dimension, it's a coin toss whether or not I could calmly assert that I am human and that I've never been outside of the normal 3 dimensions. Why? Because I'm talking to a lunatic. If I deny his accusations, will he be hiding in my closet tonight ready to murder me? Dunno.

Of course, this isn't just a bad analogy. People like Icke actually accuse others of things much like my analogy, and no doubt if people are caught off guard by it you'll see that as evidence that they really are purple crocodiles from the 9th dimension. You don't have very good mental tools for figuring out reality, and no public school would ever have been able to give them to you. It is scandalous that you are permitted to vote.

It's completely fake. Ex-Nazi scientists were developing lunar base schematics for the US military as early as the 1950s. "Project Horizon" spells out, on the record, the first things that were built. It's not a well-kept secret. The Apollo missions were a low-budget psyop to say: "nothing to see here, just some rocks, move along". But permanent manned installations had already been established by the time JFK gave his little speech. The moon landing was in fact faked, ironically enough, on the moon. We haven't been back because we never left. The Gary McKinnon hacks pretty much prove it.

Of course we went to the moon. While the US is the only country to land people on the moon, other countries have put probes and robots on the moon an in orbit, including Russia, China, Japan, Pakistan, India, the ESA, and South Korea. This isn't even counting the private companies that have done so. China even brought back lunar dirt and rock samples. Ask yourself this, if China brought back dirt and rocks from the moon, and they match what NASA brought back during Apollo, wouldn't that mean that Apollo actually did land on the moon? Seriously, if the US lied about Apollo, wouldn't any of those countries have exposed the US for lying?

I'm willing to guess that if you were accused of being a purple crocodile from the 9th dimension, you probably wouldn't punch your accuser.

I just want to know why the hi-def footage that was captured for the moon landing was not utilized for over 50 years.

The moon landing was done purely for nationalistic reasons, to stick America's dick in Russia's face. The fact that they did not once have this footage available to the public until half a century later, much less showing it before every fucking movie that played throughout the nation (propaganda before movies is a strategy that has been used since before the Hindenberg and continues to this day) is a choice so bizarre that I can not conceive of it being legitimate.

I am not opposed to a moon landing happening. The lies surrounding it (including the obvious bullshit tales of what happened to the hi def footage) make it hard to buy the story as it is presented.

Or I might. You must have a dim imagintion if you can't come up with a thousand different moods and thought processes where a person might punch the accuser.

What's really happening, is that you want it to be a hoax. I could only guess why. Maybe because you're a zoomer faggot commie, and if the USA cheated, it proves the moral superiority of communism. Or maybe you just want everyone to be failures like you are. Or perhaps you get a chubby if you think you're so clever you caught them in the hoax. Could be anything.

But having decided that it's a hoax, now you'll latch onto anything as proof. Somehow, 400,000 engineers, rocket scientists, and mid-level functionaries all came together to pull off the biggest conspiracy of all time, and not one ever exposed the secret. Yeh, sure. Then, for reasons unknown, an aggressive enemy nation vouched for it, because why the fuck not?

y filming techniques have made it impossible to even reenact stuff from the moon landing footage proves its bullshit.
Mythbusters a garbage television show recreated the footage like 2 decades ago. Man went to the moon, more than once....

i just go with the theory they faked the television broadcast for apollo 11 so they could control the narrative if things went awry and the whole world was watching. they did it for real, they took real photos, the audio is real, but the video footage is a sound stage. the next mission when they totally re-did the entire camera getup they pointed it at the sun and fried it so i find it an amusing possibility

and I don't think it mattered if it did or not.
This is the correct viewpoint. Whether something happened 50 years ago doesn't matter. Whether it happened or not, nothing changes. They could come out tomorrow and say "hey guys it was all fake" and what would happen? We'd all be slightly mad for a little while that a bunch of dead people lied to us.

Does anyone here genuinely think that the Soviets/Russians or Chinese wouldn't have exposed the hoax to embarrass the US if the landings were indeed staged?

No, the real reason people doubt the Moon landings is that they can't reconcile the racially homogenous USA of the past with the mongrelized, dysgenic USA of the present. One could put a man on the Moon with computers weaker than many modern calculators, the other can't even tell you what a woman is.
The Chinese were a non-player at the time dealing with their "cultural revolution".

Let's assume it's a hoax. Let's say the americans sent rockets to the moon and back without people on board, and the broadcast video of it was (believably) staged.

Let's also say that the Soviets knew it was a hoax.

How would the Soviets prove it was a hoax? What could they say and not be laughed out of the room?

China even brought back lunar dirt and rock samples. Ask yourself this, if China brought back dirt and rocks from the moon, and they match what NASA brought back during Apollo, wouldn't that mean that Apollo actually did land on the moon?
If China is able to bring back dirt and rock samples without putting humans on the moon, maybe so did the USA.

didnt happen otherwise there would be a shit ton of jeets up there right now

It's telling people don't have an answer how soviets could have proved that there weren't men inside the moonlanders.

Consider the other motives. At the time flower power and anti-military sentiment was in full swing. Apollo missions allowed spending on rockets (intercontinental ones like the minute man II) to continue unfettered. A US president had promised that they would put a man on the moon. There was plenty of motive to pretend to have done it even if they couldn't.

The astronauts have only imagined that they ever landed on the moon. Satan inflated himself, turning himself into a moon between the earth and the real moon. Thus, he deluded the astronauts that they had landed on the moon, but in fact, they had landed on Satan.

Of course they didn't, they actively go out of their way to remove any ability to independently verify that they did, that always means complete fraud.

Yes, but I understand why people today think we didn't. The 1960s level of technology. You have today's technology that is exponentially more powerful than what was used then. Some people are not able to wrap their head around that we went to the Moon on what is I would guess the equivalent computing power of a Ti-84.

I in general believe it happened, but there are some things I've heard that give me some doubts:
-You can't see the lander or rover on the moon
Everything in the video looks like a toy.

-Apparently we have 'lost' the technology to go back to the moon (how the hell does that happen?)
It could, but not with something like this. There's old computers I read about that virtually nobody knows how to use anymore, for example, because there's no need to use them in most cases so nobody learns it and those who do know are dying out. That could become lost technology if not addressed.

Believers and non-believers, what are your thoughts?
I'm at best a skeptic, but I'm leaning towards it not having happened. Only problem with this is why no other countries seem to dispute this victory in the space race. The answer is either they don't want to admit they were tricked too at the time, or they found something while trying to get up there that they all agreed to shut the fuck up about and just stick to the script about.
