Onyx is the actual name of the mineral, so of course it would make sense in your head and "Onix" looks incorrent.
I'm not going to outright disagree since you are correct. However, allegedly, lots of people remember it being Onyx. This isn't evidence of ME (mandela effect) that I would present however because it is weaker.

interestingly, you can find random shit here and there like news clips like ^^^ where the cornucopia is mentioned, like whoever is editing the timeline didn't do a thorough job.

I dunno this is like some Half-Life 2 shit.
What the actual fuck?

Also, CERN puts out some weird ass shit.

Why is CERN doing this shit? Why are they making weird overtly sexual art pieces and mock sacrifices? Why does there need to be performances for this shit at all?

I never heard about what I'm about to link so maybe some Kiwis that have can fill me in. Basically, this baby was murdered and in the original timeline the crime was never solved. However, apparently lots of people are surprised that now we caught the killer and executed him?
If you want to get really freaky with this shit, I've heard a theory that what the LHC did was release Apollyon aka Abaddon, a demon/fallen angel known as "The Destroyer"

Sounds crazy, but when we have a huge political movement that amounts to wanting to destroy everything good and when you look at the timeline of these tests and the timeline of the rise of these politics, when you look at how radically people's attitudes have changed, almost as if they're being influenced by some force, who the fuck knows.

I considered this because I always want to give everything the benefit of the doubt but I just can't. She had braces.
I'm less sure because it's been a long time since I saw the movie, but thinking back to my memory, yeah, she had braces, it also just makes more sense, the characters feel a connection between one another because they both have metal mouths, why wouldn't the filmmakers go with the obvious approach?

That said, one example of the Mandela effect I've seen people use that is definitely bullshit is that the Looney Tunes were ever called the "Looney Toons", I distinctly remember picking up on the pun with "tune" and "toon" as a kid, plus they were also called merry melodies.

It's true that memory isn't as reliable as we think it is, I'm often shocked when revisiting something after it's been a while how different something winds up being from my memory, but the Moonraker and Fruit of The Loom examples are genuinely freaky, especially Fruit of The Loom, the only reason I even know what a cornucopia even is is because of that company.

They're redacting history, soon enough no one will remember and their lies will be the truth, REMEMBER MOONRAKER

Okay so the Fruit of the Loom thing drives me nuts. That logo with the cornucopia looks exactly like what I remember. So I plugged it into a reverse image search, and found this website: https://www.northpointprinting.com/promotional-products (a) It's one of those businesses where you send them your logo and they stamp it on generic products. Their client list, though:

Then I found another one, same kind of business: https://www.emporiouniform.it/ (right at the end of their partners list)

And lastly, a dodgy foreign one: https://www.kilangbaju.com/ready-made-shirt/

Did the cornucopia only show up on their licensed goods? Since that's where, I'd imagine, most people would ever see the Fruit of the Loom logo.

I generally could not give less of a shit about the Mandela Effect (like the Berenstein Bears, who cares how people think it's spelled, it's not a difficult mistake), but that one is the strangest.

IMO the best example of the Mandela Effect is the Moonraker shit.

e: also since this was bumped I'll update the thread. I did end up buying a VHS player and the Moonraker tapes. I am a lazy piece of shit though so I haven't even played them yet. I will soon though and make a video.
