Constantine was the roman emperor who spread christianity by the sword and a significant part of why christianity became so ubiquitous in practical terms. That image inverses the cross, showing an aventine counter message.

If you remove the name constantine, the image could very easily be taken as an image of satan; a fallen angel.

Almost all of Garth Ennis work is directly relating to satan in some way, typically in the superhero genre.

It was alright. The ending was pretty good with Constantine tricking the devil but I found the main chick character to be pretty annoying at times.

I have watched it several times and liked it. But I've also never read the comic version of Constantine.

Keanu gives that flat line reading in every single movie he's ever made. Kind of like a signature at this point.

Constantine is a movie worth seeing for the performances of Tlida Swinton and Peter Stormare alone. Also, I happen to be a sucker for biblical themes/iconography, especially in sci fi/fantasy movies.
