I actually just spoke to Celest about this in DMs, and what he remembers is that we narrowed it down to someone who admitted to being a kiwi poster, but wasn't actually a part of our staff. I think whatever it was they shared only included information we had made public, and none of the stuff that got mentioned in the staff only channels. I don't doubt it could have been "gay ops", but I can't prove or disprove either way at this point. I do recall there being one guy here who was specifically trying to stir things up between everyone, going as far to dox Dillins family irl. That was taking things waaaay too far, but I'm 99% sure we narrowed down who that was, because as soon as we called them out on it, the posts stopped.
If you want an honest answer back whenever I was 14 I did kind of have some sort of gay ass "Fuck you, you fucking bitch" attitude but that was when I was going through shit at the time and watched Dillin's content to feel better about myself Which looking on 5 years later was really fucking cringy in all honesty. I also started as a viewer of both Dillin and Jesse but my interest wained around the time Jesse's channel became exclusively a SUH channel. My interest was only rejuvenated when all the allegations started flying but each time I was met with a sobering "meh" as claim after claim never met burdens of proof and each accuser ended up being a bit of a lolcow themselves.
Was more of a fan of the fanfic readings. Uncle Chuck's ball squeezing, piss party will always be funny to me. Dillin's Chris-Chan content was at the very least available and easy to digest, everything else I didn't care too much for. When Jesse got removed from YouTube, Dillin's content lost a lot of it's charm and eventually went from dull to cringe around October. Then I look back at some of his older content with a new perspective and then I find out that I was wearing Rose tinted glasses back then.
I was never really a fan of Dillin, or even Jesse for that matter. I was a good friend with True before i found out about his youtube channel. And met Jesse later and eventually became friends with him. I mainly stuck around in the server to hang out with True and Jesse, along with some other cool people I had met. I have never spoken to Dillin as he seemed to me to be an edgy boi that would snap at you any moment. Something about Dillin had always rubbed me the wrong way, especially when I found out he had a kiwifarms thread, and even more so due to the fact it was because of sperging at Metokur. There was even a special rule in the server about not disturbing Dillin Thomas. I figured you guys must have been exaggerating because clearly True and Jesse wouldn't be retarded enough to hang out with this guy if it was true, right? Turns out you guys were completely right and it only took a first hand trip through The Dillin Cycle (at least for Jesse) for us to understand it. I decided to take the Name (Shillin Dumbass) to kiwifarms to show that Dillin was . Fun fact, this is actually the nickname Dillin had when I first joined the server.
There's really no reason to be afraid of any of them though. They are literal nobodies and losers on the internet. As far as I'm concerned Dillin's career is most likely over now. Even if he DID relist all his content and change his name back it's too late. His reputation is permanently shot. Jesse is in a similar boat. He also can never return either because even if he did, he would never be able to escape the reputation of being an alleged pedophile, even if it's demonstrably false. It's one of those cases where the accusation matters more than the verdict to the public, ProJared being the prime example. But Jesse seems to have sunk with his ship while Dillin is still out there clinging onto every last breath of life, trying to paddle his ass to shore on his own sinking ship while screaming out for help. It's almost pathetic to watch him do this to himself but hey that's why he has a thread.
I'm not "afraid" of either of them, tho. I just don't like them as people. Like, if it was back in the day when I still hung out at the mall, they'd be the weird obnoxious losers I wouldn't associate with. And, believe it or not, I have my own reputation to deal with. That is why I left Jesse's discord server after only two/three days. Not because I genuinely do or don't believe he actually is a pedophile, but because *I* don't want to be lumped in an associated with people who sit around all day going "hurr durr pedo pedo pedo". Guilt by association is a thing, whether that guilt is justified or not.
Maybe not afraid is the right word. Not worth losing sleep over is better maybe.
Hell, even the youtube channel I created SPECIFICALLY to archive Dillin Related videos on it has grown to over 200 subs and some days I get more daily views than Dillin does now. Numbers or clout arent the purpose, but I find it extremely hilarious how far Dillin has fallen.
Yeah, someone just name dropped you in a video I'm watching. For the record, while I think this is relatively low effort content, I don't think its bad content at all. I used to watch Dillin daily thanks to his back catalogue of lolcow videos and his shit was even more low effort than yours. By the way, what made you make a hate channel on him specifically?
Its low effort and most of it is other peoples content, but i posted this just to show how badly Dillin's channel has died.
