If Alec really is a real person (lol) he's probably reconsidering the wisdom of his life choices right now.
He considered a couple of friendly questions from Joe "harassment" so bad he was compelled to cry about it in the community posts, and then with the commenters here pointing out Dillin (a guy notorious for freakouts and stabbing former partners in the back) was using him as a meatshield, an unpaid meatshield at that, and all he was likely to get out of involving himself with Dillins tainted brand was to draw the Eye of Sauron and if it finds enough juicy shit gain him a thread of his own for his troubles, if he had any sense he'd realize it's more trouble than it's worth and bail.
That's what a sensible, real person would do.
It's more likely Dillin has realized we saw straight through his beard and glasses, his return was greeted by even his "fans" telling him it's better he just moves on, and is now fumbling trying to decide what to do next, and giving anyone watching him chance to get bored.
Of course, lolcows don't learn, that's why they are lolcows, and thats why Dillin will be back.

"Alec" eventually makes a final statement talking about how mean everyone was and the Kiwis are harassing him so he's giving up, to which "Dillin" follows up by talking about how mean everyone is to bully some poor kid out of running his YouTube channel, painting himself up to be some kind of victimized martyr.

It seems like Dillin has given up his latest dog and pony show with "Alec" and slinked back into the shadows to watch and seethe.
This was quite obviously him sticking his toe in the water, far from "giving up and concentrating on rl" Dillin has been silently scheming all this time how to get back in the door and thought with Rogue out of the picture his way was clear.
I don't think he expected the all around hostile response, hence the faggy "Alec" story. Seems he's slunk off again for now, but I fully expect him to try again weeks/months down the line, the same way that Furfag Kero kept trying to restart every few months before being chased away by scorn and laughter.
I just wonder what his new excuse will be on his next attempt.

I don't know about that, as it's only been nearly a week, and his older videos (Read: Any that wasn't part of a live stream or podcasts) took similar periods of time, which would be notable with his 'is stupid' series.

The funniest part he is decided to do this with youtube newest policy changes outright saying you can not profit off of others content using an artificial voice.
Due to the influx of reddit robot readers profiting off of other people's posts and spamming the algorithm, youtube made a rule that they will remove all montization from channels like that.
Dillin outright chose the worst time to do this.
