Dillin is BPD and Borderlines are notoriously unstable, I wouldn't be surprised if he really did try to self delete.
I also wouldn't be surprised if his way of doing that was "an overdose" like a fucking dumb teenage girl, or shallow cuts the wrong way on his wrists or some other attention seeking BS.
That said Dillin is a total grifting scumbag, and since we have hit the point in the FrostyDT Cycle where Dillin openly begs for money and attempts to emotionally manipulate his audience, I wouldn't be surprised if this was bullshit and a set up for a "medical/personal emergency" that requires donations in the near future.
Dillin like most BPD's is extremely emotionally manipulative, and considering this came hard on the heels of his announcement his roommates wanted him out, and it says he's now "living with friends" you don't have to be a genius to read between the lines, especially if you have experience with BPD people.
His Borderline shitty behavior drives his roommates to finally be sick of his shit, and the BPD fakes a suicide attempt for sympathy and because only the coldest assholes will throw a "suicidal" person out, no matter how insufferable they are to live with.
No saying this is the case, just it fits a pattern people who know what BPD sufferers are like will recognize.
Dillin follows an easily tracked Cycle that regular watchers of him know and recognize and this seeming "breakdown" fits right in the projected progress of that Cycle.
Once you get used to how Dillins mind works he is extremely predictable.
Wether this is his Borderline Personality following a well established pattern, or just a cynical grift its hard to say, Dillin seems stuck in this Cycle which has repeated itself many times by now, we are at the "Begging for money/Complete Meltdown" stage of the FrostyDT Cycle.
He's had meltdowns before, I don't think any have resulted in a suicide attempt before, but even if the suicide attempt is a grift, its apparent Dillin is extremely mentally ill, and the Internet is doing him no favors.
He needs to learn to let go, not many people can make it on YouTube longterm, theres only a few Pew Die Pies and Markipliers, most people even ones that see a moderate amount of success like Dillin did only have that for a short time.
The difference is they see the writing on the wall, and if they are smart, they've invested that easy money for the future, and they move on.
Dillins attempting to hang onto that YouTube career with his fingernails, even when its obvious its over, its what is keeping him from stabilizing and being able to move on.
As much as I'd hate to lose an amusing cow, its time someone in Dillins life intervened and for him to see whats been obvious for a while.
As funny as it is to see him flail and fail constantly, its not good for his health, and he'd be better moving on.
Cows don't learn though, so my bets is the FrostyDT Cycle will continue.
EDIT- I notice it says the person posting the update "canceled the GFM" as Dillin is no longer needing to find a new place, I wonder if that mean people who donated have been refunded, or does Dillin just get to keep the free pitybux?
