I figure this would be an okay place to act since these two used to be friends but what do you guys think of Rogue Internet Man? I understand that he and Dillin had some sort oof falling out because Dillin gave rogue shit for not doing a livestream with him and as far as I'm aware, Rogue isn't considered lolcow himself but I was still curious since he's pretty active these days.

As a content creator, I don't really think he brings much to the table. He has flashy visuals sure but I find his commentary very bland that just happens to be drenched in edgelordish tone. I think where he kinda shines is during his livestreams like I've mentioned in the past on this thread, I think his banter can be funny sometimes and his relationship with his streammates. The only thing about them that I find kinda annoying is how pretentious he comes off. I was watching his last livestream and they were covering one of Chris chan's recent letters where another Chris Chan channel got mentioned and Rogue said it was just another bad channel and granted, I kinda get where he was coming from since the guy literally speaks over gameplay footage but it really got me noticing a pattern with him and it's how this dude just hates on everything.

Like it really makes me wonder if this sad fuck actually likes anything aside from Doom and COD. When it comes to YouTube content, he pretty much thinks most of it is bad. Gibi is shit, Dillin is shit, GenoSamuel is apparently shit, most games that aren't COD, Doom, GTA, or Red Dead are shit, Pokemon is shit, other people's cooking is shit, etc. It just sounds like he doesn't enjoy anything. Like as far as YouTube content is concerned what? Does he think his content is all that great if he really thinks most other content is shit? Part of me feels like he just shits on everything so he can't have things be used against him if it's found that he likes something. And worse is when he gets all self-righteous when it comes to trolls who harass lolcows' personal lives. I don't disagree with him about the notion of not overstepping into cows' personal lives but it's just the way he goes about saying it that is just a bit try hard.

But aside from that, I have a like/dislike type view of him. I enjoy his banter with his friends but I dislike how up his own ass he can be and sometimes it can be just as grating as Dillin's smugness.

Rouge occasionally makes entertaining content. Dillin doesn't. Rouge puts effort into his content and seems like he's enjoying himself. Dillin doesn't. Rouge doesn't block or delete anything that doesn't fit the narrative he's trying to craft about himself. Dillin does. Rouge seems to have a functional, adult life with h people who love him and count on him. Dillin doesn't. If you want someone who hates EVERYTHING, that's Dillin. Also, Dillin seems to surround himself with kids which is pretty creepy for a guy nearing 30. Rouge doesn't.

That's a fair assessment and what you said is true when you compare the two. I wasn't implying that they both were the same because if I had to choose between the two, I would choose Rogue over Dillin when it comes to content. I may think Rogue's usual content is bland commentary that doesn' really add anything but at least he sounds like he's kinda into it and at the very least, doesn't interject and ask stupid questions when reading off the wiki swhen the events had already happened.

It's kind of a meme amongst Rouge and his community that he's in late 40s but IIRC Rogue's in his last 20s. The oldest person he has on his show I'm pretty sure is ProPainKey who's in his early 30s. I don't really care for Rogue's scripted out and edited videos, but his livestreams are fun background noise with bantz and he's said before that he loves old Howard Stern and that's why I enjoy his live shows.

Oh cool, that makes sense. I wasn't sure if Rogue was in his 30s or 20s but yeah, I could see him being in his late 20s like around 26-27. And right yeah, I agree that it's obvious PropainKey is the oldest one in his 30s, some of the references he makes that Rogue and Asterisk don't get was a good key into this like how he joked about the Bloodhound Gang and Rogue and Asterisk had no clue who that band was lol. I think the youngest one is between Aserisk and Liz.

I didn't know that Rogue was inspired by the Howard Stern show, it makes a lot more sense now about why his livestream lobby looks the way it does lol.
 
I have no idea what the fuck is happening but right now Dillin Thomas is making a stream venting about his relationship with Jesse Pajamas. TLDW Lots of Smash player shenanigans involving petty shit, NTR, disgusting interactions with minors, and all kinds of exceptional behavior. Truly fantastic.

Isn’t this exactly the same thing he tried to go after Turkey Tom for (accusing Pyrocynical of pedophilia with no evidence)? Also this mf literally said “what’s true doesn’t matter” so any credibility he could have is forever lost to me.

EDIT: It’s funny because I remember being there for Jesse’s stream about the MugiMikey doc and I couldn’t help but notice how much Dillin was grandstanding about how much more mature he was compared to him, and here he is not even a year later doing pretty much the same thing.

He said he knew about all the bad things Jessie was allegedly doing but didn't say anything.

Also, sometime during the video he said if there are any victims of Jessie, that they should make a post about it and "call him out". Uh no? They should go to the police/law enforcement. He's a fucking moron.

edit: Also half the video is about petty squabblings they've had in the past. This isn't about "victims" or justice, this is about Dillin.
