It'll only work if Dillin actually puts some effort into his content. I'm talking a break down of topics with swanky editing and actual jokes in it. Then, he could pivot to whatever he wants to. If it took that route, he could even talk about old and dead topics and make them fun to watch. But instead, I'm pretty sure he's not going to do anything to change.

Nah, the Kiwi were slacking that night, and I don't watch fortnite streams or whatever, so I didn't know it happened.

theirs nothing really special about his content he just repeats things verbatim.You could say the same thing about Rouge but atleast his voice isnt annoying like Dillin Thomas.

Rogue and Dillin are trying to be the same thing: funny, edgy, and good for background noise. The difference is (from what little I've seen of Rogue), he actually commits to that by making jokes about pretty much anything. Dillin doesn't, however they're both bottom of the barrel internet edgelords that are beaten out by even Comic Tropes in terms of content creation.

So far, this is working out for Rogue (I think he made a thousand dollars from that stream where he buttfucked Dillin), but I feel like Dillin needs to be more like Comic Tropes if he wants to succeed.

Ironically, Rogue prohibits jokes about trannies or faggots in both his server and his streams, and has thrown autistic sperg outs on stream when he gets a superchat or livestream comment mentioning "troons," "trenders," or "faggots," regardless of if the person is actually any of those things-- not that it matters, but it feels like he commits halfway, whereas Dillin doesn't at all. I understand not wanting to get demonetized, but by his own admission, it's just extra money on the side and not an actual job.

Rogue just doesn't want his shit to get banned/demonetized since he relies on it for supplemental income, he's never raised a issue with me using such terminology when speaking with him in private. Dillin on the other hand is a enigma where he stands, as before he's been willing to say nigger and tranny without concern whatsoever while more recently (see after the summer of love) he's moved away with it

Back on topic, I really want to talk more about Dillins low effort content and lifestyle. We live in a world where you can pirate Toonboom or some shit and make real animations to make real money, or you can go to school from home or get a job from home. You can make thousands from writing bullshit articles on websites no one visit. Hilariously, there's even less excuse to be a stay at home loser, so what's dillin's problem?

I think what happened was he actually was making dosh, at first. I've seen him do streams and make a few hundred bucks from super chats and stuff, usually with other tubers, so he probably had to split it with them, but still. I want to say back when me and him beefed, he said something like he made around $1000-1200 a month? He seriously considered his channel his "primary source of income". I mean, $1k a month to shit talk Chris Chan ain't bad, if it's a supplemental income. But if that's serious ALL he's making? That.. that's not anything someone in their mid 20s should be bragging about. Insert "no wonder he moved back in with his mom" joke.
