The thing that I don't understand about Dillin is his apparent need to make alt channels and spread his content. He's never exactly been creative but he could potentially get growth again if he just stuck to something. You can have a diverse pool of content that grabs a specific niche and they'll likely look at your other videos even if it isn't part of their niche. Creating so many different alts just spreads out viewership.

Also I want to thank Dillin for being what led me here. I discovered this place by stumbling across his thread even before his crash out while on stream with Rogue. Lurked for a long time and now I'm part of the shit pit and I love it here.

Yeah Rogue is the one that got me into the Chris-Chan then this forum after I got banned for saying anti-troon shit in the Warhammer reddits. Been here all the time since.

I have returned to this thead after a long while of a lack of change to inform you that Dillin has once again returned to ShadsHoodlum, not even pretending to be a different guy now.

He also did the same not too long ago on another channel

and another one, on a different channel

I guess this new strategy is using a whole bunch of those super-secret channels for random shit and hoping one of them makes money, if only he didn't tank his career, then he wouldn't have to do this.

I guess it's a bit nostalgic for me returning to some old stomping grounds just to watch Dillin flounder.

Retard’s been using AI for years for literally everything he does from art, to scripts, to voices, but now decides he doesn’t want to contribute to it anymore. Yet despite this he’s gonna keep using the shit he already made.

I’ve noticed over the last couple years that AI is excessively used mostly by talentless grifters with no meaningful life skills, so I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised at Dillin.

From the community post, it seems like he’s attempting to start a content farm monopoly of some kind with all his alts. I assume he decided to drop the act with Shad and rope that into it as well.
 
Forgive the phone posting, but I have to wonder if Dillin’s decision to change his channel name to his initials is because the top results when you search his full name are people covering his retardation.

Saw this thread and got jumpscared lmao, its been like 2 years since I even thought of his guy.

Last I remember he we sperging after the Chris Chan podcast (which was suprisingly fun) fell apart and he tried to pivot to comics before packing it all up.

So this is him relaunching again?

Yeah, it looks like after throwing all his friends to the wayside, destroying what little reputation he had, alienating his fanbase, nuking his channel’s statistics from orbit in order to be more PC/avoid getting cancelled, launching an indie-game scam, and a (supposed) failed suicide attempt, he’s decided to come back and capitalize on the AI slop era of YouTube to try and get back in the game.

It was covered earlier in the thread, but Dillin (under one of his alts, Shadshoodlum) released an incredibly shitty DDLC + Animal Crossing inspired horror game called Forest Folk. You can look back for yourself, but the game is essentially a visual novel with even less gameplay and costs $5.

Apparently he's trying or at least tried to bring that back as well. Also the game was horror game that used animal crossing looking characters. Im impressed how hard he's trying to claw his way back, he even started doing drama content about his old troon crush doodletones and even joined in on talking about emu emi after she accused saber spark of sexual assault

Okay, so we might actually be having a re-emergence of the Dillin Cycle.

A few hours ago, Dillin streamed his first new DHT Live in a while. His guest for the stream was a guy named “nicholascooney”, an incredibly small YouTuber who you may remember did another collab with Dillin years ago, I believe shortly after the whole Jesse and Rogue saga.


I love how nearly every asset in this video (including cooney’s very unflattering, fatass avatar) is made with AI despite Dillin’s claim that he was gonna steer away from that shit. But this cooney seems like a chill guy, maybe he’ll be different from the other guests/co-hosts that Dillin’s fallen out with?
