Eh it's one of those situations where it's not easy. I think at the end of the day so long as you're level headed and not overly obsessive with the thing you love where you can have interest in other things outside the one thing that you like a lot, you should be fine. The issue I have with Dillin Thomas aside from him thinking his content is any better than any other Chris Chan commenters is you can tell how insecure he is with Edgelord way of speaking. If you really feel the need to insult like 90-95% of the thing you're talking about, it just comes off as insecure in my mind and Dillin Thomas is a good example of that. That's why I tend to lean more towards Rogue Internet Man since it seems like he has more thought put into his videos and can criticize something without having to needlessly insult the person or thing he's commentating on.

I really cannot fathom how anyone would want to watch this bullshit. The sum of most of his "Criticism" in this recent video is "I DON'T CARE, I DON'T CARE, I DON'T CARE" and ""I DON'T KNOW, FUCK YOU". Like seriously, if you don't fucking care about the material you're covering to the point where you're skimming through most of it when the audience can just so easily do that themselves then why the hell are you even making a video on this in the first place?
I know I mentioned this in an older reply but this is the thing I can't stand with Dillin. He tries to act like he's above it all. That he's better than Chris and the people who may be/may have been interested in the things Chris was into like MLP but he's really no better himself and he just comes off as an insecure little boy who never matured past his middle school edge-lord phase when he's like in his mid 20s. It's fucking pathetic and wreaks of pure projection on his part.
I'm not saying that Chris Chan is any way better than Dillin (or anyone who covers him for that matter) but it's certainly easy to see how Dillin projects onto Chris probably because he's an "Autistic Sonic sperg" just like him with the only exception that he didn't make a crappy Sonic fan OC. that he tried to copyright as well as the dimensional merge bullshit.
I mean when it comes to GiBi, I think he's a little on the bland side of things but at least he actually has a genuine interest in the subject matter he covers mostly because he's into psychology which is pretty cool and understandable why he's interested in Chris' mental state and then Rogue Internet Man actually has fun with Chris' ridiculousness and makes entertaining videos without feeling the need to insult his audience. He can be edgy but it's tasteful and doesn't come off as middle school try-hard.
I just think Dillin needs to take that stick out of his ass and lighten up. If he really finds Chris' ridiculousness that irritating then stop talking about him and talk about shit that actually does interest you. And take a chill pill with your insecure toned lashing out at people you deem stupid just because they find Chris interesting, it doesn't make you come off better in comparison and just makes you look like a different type of man child when you're in your mid 20s. Just take a page from Rogue Internet Man and either have fun with it or talk about something else that doesn't irritate you.

I'm surprised it wasn't posted here already, but at 1:34 Dillin drops all pretenses of being a observer and blatantly admits to wanting to interact with Chris for a "interview" however, the only thing preventing him is the fact he doesn't want to pay for it, and Dear Feeder not replying to him. I guess it's inevitable that all who make a living off of Chris fall victim to jumping that shark, sucks that I have to amend my previous posts though

It really would not shock me if Dillin was a narcissist since people like that do love finding targets to bully or gossip about in order to make themselves feel better about their own insecurities. But hey if you don’t care and go out of your way to project how much you don’t care about the haters then more laughs for us to enjoy.

Honestly why would Dillin think that Chris would even want to talk to him when he's one of the most aggressive and unpleasant Chris Chan content creator out there? I sooner see Chris Chan talking to GiBi before Dillin and that's because even though GiBi criticizes Chris' behavior, he doesn't come off as an insecure asshole when doing it unlike Dillin.
I think you may be right on the narcissim. Dillin himself doesn't seem like he's accomplished much of anything in his life and he knows that his content on Chris Chan (no matter how shit level it is) is the only thing that really rakes in the views. Aside from the possibility that Dillin is just embarassed of Chris Chan because he himself is also Autistic and a Sonic fan, he knows that deep down he himself hasn't accomplished much neither. I'm sure he's aware that he knows that the only thing that has brought him somewhat of an audience was reading CWCKI articles which yes, that is indeed all he does and he doesn't add anything to it at all at hat.

Holy shit at the 1:50 mark Dillin brings up the spoctor theroy drama and says how the guy was “proven“ innocent. Bitch please spoctor is a gross weirdo! One of the victims that Spoctor hurt, came forward on the forms and revealed that the guy had her send nudes to him when she was only 13 years old! So what Spoctor did next was destroy the hard drive containing the nudes and had his “friends” change the definition of Paedophilia so that he walked away Scott free. I watch the whole video through and did the same with Dillin’s. Oh wow is dillin just a disingenuous manipulative asshole from start to finish, because he is doing nothing but lying through his teeth. But towards the end of the video it just feels like Dillin is letting off some serious projection and it just seems...off putting to say the least. Also I went to the guy’s comment section and found these hilarious gems that I think everyone will enjoy. Cuz apparently big bad dillin would rather argue back with a shitty google doc instead of a video! Oh Dillion you never fail to amuse us!

what the hell was he even trying to accomplish with a google doc?, was he too lazy to type it out like he has already shown he can do in the same response comments in that chain and other video comments?, all I can tell is he got mad someone reacted or called him out and couldn't cope that Turkey Tom has more subs and more views than he can muster with his Chris-Chan videos when it was brought up.
