I don't recall him setting a specific date, other than saying it will happen before 2018 ends. He did qualify that by saying it won't happen all at once, instead that it would come in "waves." That seems to be Chris, or whoever Magi-Chan is, establishing plausible deniability.

Chris has never been exclusive to here, even when it was the CWCki Forums (he's been on SomethingAwful, 4chan, 8chan, etc).

The issue is that opening up Chris's anus to "mainstream internet culture" has led to a rise in people shitting up the forum here (usually during the summer when school is out) and either getting with the program and knocking it off or fucking off back to tumblr. These are the people who don't realize that the days of chris trolling are gone and keep trying to fuck with him and inevitably fuck up, for the sake of being remembered in the annals of Christory:

1) Our avenues of info-- his facebook friends list was the only way we could watch him for a long time and that was in constant jeopardy thanks to dipshits trying to hoard chris's fat all to themselves
2) His mental health, as @Ballzymaker94 and @NinFreakLan did (and to a slightly lesser extent, @DStecks, whose misguided donation basically opened the doors to that shit

Those videos are part of the problem, as they make Chris fresh in people's minds by plagarizing the CWCki, which is not meant to be taken at face value and without explaining that what was done then that worked and seemed funny at the time will not work and probably isn't as funny now.

A CWC SCP could work without bringing in a flood of spergs, so long as he or his characters isn't aren't referenced directly. There's plenty of articles on that site that reference various pop culure phenomena without a namedrop.
