According to Chris' rules, they wouldn't die, just be deemed not fit for existence in the first place. I don't think it would matter either way with 40k, as it's set 38,000 years in the future.

I think the dead range is actually from 41% to 49% of humans, given Chris' poor understanding of margin of error. All OC that exists in the other dimension is surviving, hooray.

So we know Chris is never going to admit the merge doesn’t happen. So is he just going to keep saying the merge is in progress? How is he going to explain the bank situation? My guess is he’ll say that just hasn’t transferred over yet. And any celeb who dies will get the Stan Lee treatment and it’ll just be a perfect Chris excuse to say the merge took them.

I don't think Stan Lee can actually be in Chris' alternate dimension, because, by Chris' rules, Lee's creations (and cameos) were in specific universes, not C-197.
