And in that episode she got famous in a barbershop quartet. Much like this one. She got a deeper voice for a point. If anything you're not supposed to laugh at the girl character having a male voice, she willingly have herself one to help a friend in the episode Dino is probably complaining about. Then again, if it's the first one and it was an accident she's still stupid for caring so much.

She probably doesn't give a shit about all the other SPECIES (that being the keyword here) that the show didn't present as good. Maybe the comic with SJW dragons who complain about representation in pony comics and the whole thing is a Ferguson analog is more her speed.

I honestly love what Dino said about Derpy Hooves and how the name is an insult to disabled people. The fandom has it's fair share of people on the autistic spectrum, all of whom love Derpy as a character.

So I am actually now confused. Are they a troll or are they real?

As far as the lazy eye horse goes in being offensive, one could say it intially came off as offensive not because of the name but rather because the character could also sound offensive. I remember hearing the original voice and one could say that could offend someone. Then again, one has to ask if the likes of autistics are offended by some lazy eyed horse. Either way, that is old news and there was already some person from Tumblr that complained about it, saying it would offend her disabled friends while ignoring those with disabilities that didn't mind or even cared about the lazy eyed horse. If Dino really has to bring that up, the mark was missed by 2-3 years.

She is the type to make a big deal of Derpy Hooves. If it was more relevant, she would probably be whining about that instead.

Dubya is actually smarter, at least politically. I get that sometimes a politician doubles down on an unpopular opinion, but that's seriously Trump's only move. He's also a laughable caricature of a nouveau-riche fleabag.

Derpy's original voice was provided by Tabitha St Germain (Rarity, Princess Luna) and was based on the son of a family friend from what I remember. Tabitha had no idea of the character's gender, hence why the voice sounds off.

Wow, I actually got kind of angry reading that Twitter shitshow. I can't fucking stand people who believe that the entire world needs to cater to them and their sensibilities and then throw a huge fit when everything doesn't line up exactly with their ideals. I mean, attacking an actual staff member of a popular show? Holy entitlement complex, Batman!
