Discord Q&A - part 11 on Dec 5 2020

Chris has always been hilariously wrong about why he got trolled (“They’re jealous because I have a lot of stuff” was my personal favorite)

Mine is "because they didn't think of Sonichu first".

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Trolling didn’t “damage” Chris nearly as much as his asspatters and “fans” have.

This, and a hundred times this.

Chris’s Classic mailbag used to be genuinely funny as well as informative about Chris.

Unlike this modern incarnation, where everyone is either autistic or scared shitless to make Chris upset, so most of the questions are bland and boring as fuck.

“Chris! Did you watch X show?” “Chris, which is your favorite transformer?”

Who cares? PROTIP: Chris will stop answering them anyways no matter how polite you are, because he’ll get bored or distracted, so you might as well make it funny.

YO WEENS! (And everyone who writes Chris). LOOK UP THE OLD MAILBAGS AT THE CWCKI TO SEE HOW ITS DONE!

Did Bob like Rock n Roll?
Can you speak more about who and what CWC Psychlight is?
How many of Bob's records do you still have? and do you still use any of them?
What is your favourite Pokemon game ever?
If you could meet any one of your past trolls, who would you choose?
What do you want to be remembered as? and what do you think you will be remembered as?
Do you think your discovery on the internet has lead to more good or more bad?
What are your thought on Virtual Reality video games?
What is your favourite Disney movie? and why do you like it over the rest?
What is your favourite Dreamworks movie? and why do you like it over the rest?
Why do you think you held anti-LGBTQ+ views in the past?
You had to retire from the mayorship of CWCville because it was too much responsibility. Are you sure you want to become a deity? It has a lot more responsibilities than being mayor.
To reduce stress over being a deity, why not give someone else the mantle of CPU Blue Heart like you gave Aliison Amber the mayorship of CWCville?
How is Brendan Fraser doing as mayor of CWCville?

So some quick stuff.
Bob was into classic music, aside from jazz and blues.
Chris and Barb still have around 100 of Bob's records, and they got a record player that works with USB.
Chris' favorite Pokémon game are gen 3 (Emerald) and Pokémon Colosseum and XD.
If he could meet with any of his past trolls, he would like to meet the person behind Clyde Cash.
His favorite Disney movie, as we know, is Mary Poppins.
His favorite Pixar movie is Toy Story 1.
His favorite Dreamworks movie is Bublebee. (?)

I feel like him changing his tune on null is some kindof preemptive back up plan when Barb kicks the bucket. Hoping Null might bail him out of the ensuing chaos.

I expect barb won't make it through the year.

My bets are on her passing sometime in 2021, personally. I wont be surprised if she passes away before the end of 2020, but I think it would be much more foreboding if she passed next year, ten years after the loss of his father. Even if wasn't to the day (but oh man imagine if that did happen) seeing the decade start to eerily mirror the last one would set a very dark tone for the rest of it.

50 minutes in: What does Chris want to be remembered for?

Chris: “Well... She wants be ah.. Remebered for who she is and her life so far and still ongoing... Essentially she will live on forever and this body will go on living forever by the way you know. She wants to remembered as the kind, positive person she was always has been and always meant to be and that’s DESPITE every single negative that was inadvertently or mistakenly taken... Done by her or said by her and taken out of contest or whatever else... She wants to be remembered for the True and Positive about her really. An an also wants to be remembered as the literal GODDESS she is really.... An an of course her arts and books an all dat.”

Welp, it looks like hanging out with asspatters and cloutchasers have really done wonders for Chris’s mental health and fragile ego!

Why do they always have to ask Chris such inane questions?

When did Chris get an Xbox? I thought Chris hated Xbox because its the system all the trolls use.

I thought that, too, however a few years ago (during the Jackie saga), he actually changed his mind and said he actually likes the Xbox and considered it just as good as PS. Chris just doesn't log into his XBL account as much as he does on his PSN account.

Less than 100 LPs of Bob's remain, when originally his collection was over 15,000. I wonder how many were truly destroyed in the fire vs. how many Chris and Barb just didn't want to look through to see what was salvageable. Because if really only 100 were not damaged by fire... 100/15,000 = 1/150. If I was sorting through a large number of anything and only found at most 1 "keeper" for every 150 that I was looking through, I'd throw the whole assortment out and call it a total loss. Seems more likely that they just took one stack of LPs out of the rubble, just to say that they salvaged some of them, and then happily threw the rest out rather than deal with them. Which... whatever. But that collection was Bob's pride and joy, he specifically wanted Chris to have it, and if nothing else I bet there were a lot of valuable records there, you'd just have to spent roughly one minute each looking them up on eBay to see.

Also: Not only thinking that he will "live forever" but that "this body" in particular will live forever. In other words no wiggle room for "living on in heaven" or another dimension or whatever. Chris's body is indestructible apparently.

Yup, remember that letter Bob wrote to Chris? About treasuring the stuff he left him or whatever and learn about it before tossing it out?

I know Chris doesn’t give a shit about things if they’re not gaudy plastic crap that he’s too old for.

But at least he could have sold them or donated them or something. Bob would have appreciated that.

I think it's more laziness from Chris than it is disrespect, although there's some disrespect too.

He clearly likes to talk about his dad's love of music, and even when he was alive Chris would do things like include some of his dad's music on mix CDs or whatever.

But when it's not something to do with himself or his own self-aggrandizing projects, Chris can't be bothered to care about it. Even though there MUST have been a lot of valuable records in Bob's collection, and the collection overall could just have been sold in bulk for a lot of money to someone... doing that would require effort. It's like Chris would rather just get by on tugboat and pity donations. Bob's music collection was probably worth five figures, easy, very possibly even six, if someone actually wanted to go through it, pull out the valuable records to sell individually and then sell the rest in bulk even at $1/each. Over $35,000 easily, would be my guess. So more than a year's worth of income for Chris. Maybe more than a year's worth of income for Chris and Barb combined. At least, it's a decent possibility. And instead of investigating this, they just throw it all out. It's not even some weird annoying collection that was willed to them and they had no idea about. It was Bob's collection, and he told them that it was valuable. And they still just said "F it".

But can you imagine Chris actually taking the time to list, sell, and mail individual LPs? I can't imagine that. I definitely can't imagine him mailing them properly so they don't get damaged in shipping. I guess it was fucking impossible for him to do this, and maybe he realizes this about himself, intuitively and accurately.

It's just such a waste and such a shame. I'm a collector of certain antiques myself, and whenever I hear about something like this it really gets to me. If nothing else, his father would have wanted someone who enjoyed and appreciated the music and the history to have those records. Chris couldn't even bother to donate them somewhere.

Pretty fucking sad when you lay it out like that. And infuriating. (Especially considering he has literally FUCK ALL to do all day! And that he tried to sell Bob’s thoroughly unremarkable stamp collection for 1000$)

As for donating them... Well, that would mean several phone calls or emailing someone. And Chris caring about anything other than himself, so that was always an unlikely event.

Every time you think Chris has managed to reach a low point in laziness and sloth, he somehow surprises you.

I had no idea Bob’s records were this valuable, but I guess a lot of this was from the forties and fifties.

Next time there’s a discord chat, someone should ask him exactly WHAT happened with those 15.000 records.

If they can fit it in between asking Chris about all the important stuff. Ya know, who his favorite Disney character is, and what color arms he would give Sonic if it was up to him.

I'd guess that you have to butter Chris up with inofensive stuff before asking interesting stuff...

But I guess those faggots forgot that second part there.
I'm thinking some inoffensive yet interesting question like "Have you watched an anime called Euphoria? It's so good that you have to watch it, no spoilers"

Honestly I think Chris's willingness to talk about his Dad is more out of nostalgia, which is something that clearly gives him the fuzzy-wuzzies. It reminds him of a time where he didn't have to worry about paying the bills or Barb's excessive nagging, and it was back when he was still somewhat able to socialize at TGP and Target. He may be in better spirits now, but that's mainly due to the asspatters and possibly gaining a legitimate fanbase, as seen by how many people were excited to meet him at cons. I also have to give him credit for actually giving some detail and thought into his responses unlike previous mailbags where it was limited to vague, one-word answers; He's at least more trusting of strangers over the internet and doesn't automatically assume everyone is a troll. Yeah he's probably lying out the ass to make himself seem like a better person than he actually he is, but there's still some level of truth to his answers.

It's also good that none of the questions feel like an attack against him or loaded in any way that ensures he gives a negative response just to make him look like a terrible person, which we already know he is.

According to the Catie Date audio, Barb and Chris kept "thousands" from Bob's record collection after the fire. The problem is they seem to have kept most of them in the shed so exposure would have ruined most of them. Some were kept in a storage unit or the rental house, maybe those were the ones that made it. Also in the audio, Chris said they were considering selling or donating the records... when he was selling stuff on Ebay a few years later, he never put those up, opting to go through Bob's stamp collection instead. Suggests he didn't know the bulk of the records were ruined at the time of the Catie Date.
