The Republicans oppose education. They just want you to be uneducated worker slaves while they and their rich buddies rake in net profits and get massive tax breaks, so of course educated people who can see through that will be liberal. Besides, it's complete idiocy to support a party that wants to tax you, the middle class, instead of the super rich people who can afford it.

I don't know what is so hard to understand about tariffs. Goods coming in, get taxed. Yes, you have to pay more for imports. BUT, Trump made it very clear that if they open up factories and shit in USA. They won't have this tax. Which means, the business(es) has to buy locally to acquire items they need to function. Which keeps the money in the economy, and creates jobs. Farming might become more expansive, especially with RFK jr. and his idea to do regenerative farming practices. This could mean a massive price drop, without the need of government subsidies, across the board in terms of produce, and without government intervention. Farmers, want to farm. They don't want to be paid pennies to not grow crops. There is a massive reliance on monoculture in USA, and the changes that will happen will most likely be rid of that. Literally everyone wins in USA. The only people who don't are foreign nations.

Then that is on the democratic campaign for not effectively addressing it. You can't expect people to vote for Kamala when she isn't campaigning on the issues they most care about. If Trump's plan is bullshit that will make people worse off, then you make ads attacking it and say what you will do to make things better for the working-class people.

The reality is, most voters, left or right, don't have the time, energy or patience to research every claim. Many of them won't even be keeping up with the news. So it is up to the parties to meet them with the message, not expect them to find it.
