I'm along the lines of closing it. We pretty much got a conclusion. Not the one we wanted, but a conclusion nonetheless. But at the same time, I want to know what's going on within the anime sphere and finding out who's a LOLcow and what now.

I’m rather torn, a “Culture Wars” board is attractive as a place to reminisce over Gamergate, Comicsgate, etc and slap in consoomer media grifters like Jim Sterling. It’s also close enough to the original intention/audience that I feel it fits; it keeps cows like Monica Rial contained. On a related note, I fear a good portion of people ITT have lost the focus of the “culture war”, which was always consoomer media. Politispergs like CoachRedPill are not part of the “culture war” in that way, because while they appear similar on the surface the humor of the CW is just how fucking stupid the topic is. People get so autistic over tranny flags in Spider-Man, or removing arm bands from pseudo-Nazis in SkullGirls, or any Disney movie made in the last 10 years. I mean Gamergate was just about laughing at a whore that blew up into the so-called “culture war”.
Keeping anime as a focus is another option, as similar to furries weebs congregate to weebish topics and this can act as a way to contain their autism. I fear, however, that giving too much organization to the Vtuber degenerates could lead to an A&H-level autism singularity. Proceed with caution Mein Feeder.
On the other hand, Nick deserves his own board, but I feel gutting this whale out doesn’t accomplish this as effectively as making him his own board from scratch. We did just retire Tommy Tooter after all, is the Balldo Race ready to stand up in his place?

I think I like this idea of something like an 'Internet Culture War Sektur'.
It would be an amalgam of 'Culture War', 'Anti-SJW', 'Nerd Grifters', and GamerGate-adjacent content personalities. This would be a niche of 'Internet Famous' personalities that talk comics, vidya, and other pop-culture. There is certainly no shortage of talking heads on Marvel, Disney, DC, comics, vidya, and the like, but they cover much of the same topics and are so cross-pollinated with their audience that they could be split off from the general IF board.
The only fuzzy line I see with 'internet culture' is in the distinction with 'trad lifestyle' grifters (Like JustPearlyThings) and other social commentators that fall more into pseudo-religious and pseudo-philosophy bordering on politic-sperging. Expanding that far is is much too close to the MGTOW, MRA's, men's lifestyle, life coaches, PUA's, and the flipside of army of breadtubers and rabid internet feminists. Too much heavy politics.
How would you separate the political aspect of 'muh libtards are trying to groom my kids' from 'shite tranny self-inserts in vidya with pronouns'?

Culture war grifters/consumer culture bullshit is spread out all over the place. We have Rekieta and Mauler in Internet Famous, Comicsgate and Gamergaters in the community watch, TUG here in WW, RGE in Lolcows, and FNT/Fandom Menace in Proving Grounds hell. A dedicated subforum may serve towards keeping everything nice and organized.

A culture war grifter can be distinguished from a regular political grifter by their specialization in targeting pop/celebrity culture and whatever's trending and inserting themselves and their politics into it as a way of bringing attention to themselves and their platform. We all know what one is, but a formal definition of the term might help.

You can do this in the Multimedia forum already, see the One Piece thread as an example. Which is part of the reason I feel opening it up as a containment board will only increase the autism quotient; otaku culture is already handled well enough in there. VTubers would be the only thing to spread with any degree of potency. Have you seen the VTuber thread? Last I saw it was a buncha guys posting their waifus farting.

Honestly, I think we should just wait until the lawsuit fees are ruled on (Oct 6th.) though I do agree with the idea of renaming/reorganizing it into Culture Wars.

The Anime fandom needs it own containment board. Vic Mig's lawsuit may be up in the air and stagnant, but anime autism in the fandom still marches on!! Even though pseudo-right/culture war reactionaries were outspoken about Vic's lawsuit, mixing Weeb Wars into a Culture War thread, would be too broad. Furthermore, WW is just a tip of the iceberg of ani-spergery, for as long as I've been a fan, there's been countless drama and retardation concerning: X anime VA exposed with CP, conslut drama, rumored con orgies/drug raves, and the daily Twitter outrage over X manga/anime series.
Altogether...Keep this board @Null and rename it to Anime Autism!!

I'm surprised nobody mentioned the king grifter Tim Pool. He is the king poombah of grifting culture wars. I would absolutely love a culture wars area. Where all these are in one place.

A general in a "Culture War" subforum would be the thread that the abortive Fandom Menace thread in PG never was. The Comicsgate community thread has a lot of lore going back years but is pretty dead at this point. A lot of discussion that happens in the community thread about Eric July and Nerdrotic or AZ would belong in a culture war general. Any related threads would go in "Culture War". This includes TUG, Dean & Vikkiverse, Yellow Flash, RGE, Liam Gray, George Alexopoulos, Sheila Aliens. It's up for debate if Vox Day belongs there, probably leave opposition people like Mags Visaggio where they are. @Mister Dongs is the most respected high quality poster still active on the Comicsgate community thread if you need an OP or a mod he has my support.

When Vic's appeal failed last year, I floated the idea this be repurposed into a weeb containment zone. Put people like Digibro into it.
That being said, I'm not married to the idea, you don't seem to like it, and... thinking about it now... I recognize there's probably not enough meat for it anyways.
In general, I agree with what others have said here that you'll get more mileage out of a generic culture war grifting subforum, so I support that idea now.

#2 sounds good, though someone flew the idea of a "Sektur" board which merges AF and Ethan Ralph and a bunch of other grifting lolcows who are adjacent, such as Juju and Balldo, not going to work in my opinion.
The name of the board should be funny, I just don't think "culture wars" is funny but that's just me I guess.
Agree that the board must appeal to a specific audience, though there is a sizable crossover among Drex, Balldo, Juju and the Ethan Ralph subforum. I think a redirect to Balldo and Juju's threads should be placed in the Ethan Ralph subforum, I don't know how to do it.
The board could include other orbiting idiot podcast types such as Quarter Pounder and various hanger-on grifters with some lawtube spergs splashed in. Another idea is to include these alt-tech grifting sites people use such as Kick and Rumble, I was going to make one of each for the Gunt board but I didn't see a point as he's not even the top 20 streamer there.
Downside is, we'd be making yet another IF-like board. The Ethan Ralph subforum already acts like one. I would try and avoid that scenario playing out.
This should be the icon.

How about "podcast race reservation". I think the rekita verse stuff is too niche to carry a board so the category would need to be wider.
It could be used to contain political grifters who are not outright associated with america first or orbit ethan ralph. It would be the post-skeptic outage merchants, dying breadtube channels, white nationalist podcasts, third world anarchist e-beggers, and the concessional twitter sperg who thinks gamergate is still relevant. All the e-daddies and mommies who make rent by telling their audiences they have the right opinions. That might be too vague to be a specific audience, but I'm mostly interested in a board focused on the wider online politics grift sphere.
One issue is it would blur into the internet famous category. I do think it would help to quarantine the more political threads and culture war spergs to their own board though like how the tranny threads got put into stinkditch.

A general subforum for all the people with podcasts and their grift to turn their opinion into profit seems like a good fit. Dick, Rekeita, Tim Pool, Quartering, ext. All the wave of people who just read the news, pretend to be concerned, and then try to market their shitty end to end business partnership. The name and tagline would be:
- The Podcast Race - They have an opinion for everything
- Anime Exclusion Zone - Abandoned hope all ye who enter here
