Are you talking about the epcot attraction? the "communicore" channel in slack seems to be for developers for some communicore program, or game, or something. mostly consists of debugging various problems with docker and a commuicore python library. I skimmed it but didn't find anything super interesting besides one guy balking that it was made closed-source at some point.
to be completely honest I have no idea what it is, because they don't seem to be talking about the park. judging from the messages I think it's an internal tool of some sort or maybe some system that runs the attraction, I dunno. if you're interested in the attraction itself then maybe one of the brainstorming channels might have something more useful

Yes, literally nothing. the way the slack dump is structured (or at least the way that the leak structured it, I'm not that experienced with slack) is that each channel has up to two files, which are a .json file and a zip file containing the files that were uploaded to the channel. usually that means videos, images, docs, etc. if you're not familiar with the structure of JSON it uses what are called key/value pairs, like this
the .json files contain the name of the channel, information like the description and stuff, and messages which have their own fields like the text of the message, who sent it, when it was sent, the reactions to it, etc. "childsacrifice.json" literally only has a name and 5 messages, not even a description. every message was just "[user] joined the channel", and before anyone asks, the usernames are just a jumble of letters and numbers so we can't glean any information from that aside from correlating posts with the user ID. according to slack's data export page there should be logs of messages being modified or deleted, and I noticed messages have two fields called "replace_original" and "delete_original" that I guess might say if it was modified or deleted, so even though it's really creepy and ominous to have this nondescript channel called "childsacrifice" with 5 people there's little chance anything actually went on. unless the dump itself was modified I just don't see it happening. someone with more experience with slack could correct me though

edit2: I just read that slack has something called data retention settings which apparently can affect whether or not deleted messages show up in logs. So I take back what I said earlier, it could be possible that stuff was deleted and it just didn't show up depending on what their company settings were...again, I'm not an expert because I've barely used slack, but that's what I'm getting from their site

General notes:
I realized that you can occasionally get the real names of people from the slack channel in some cases. sometimes there's a message that links the user ID to the actual account name when they join but it's not in all channels, so I have no idea why
with some investigation you can usually piece together who is who in the channel if they use their names
if you're thinking about torrenting some files, check the json file size and zip file size. if it's not a bot channel there's a good chance the larger sized ones have more content
chatgpt wrote me a script to parse the slack json logs to make it easier to read. if there's interest I'll share it
most of the "alert" channels are bot channels. as in they automatically message the channel when there's an outage or something. not like a "hey a parkgoer went crazy, can someone get on this?" kind of deal

I stumbled across something interesting. not groundbreaking but worth mentioning. I was digging through a channel called C0H716W1Z.json,int_animationthrowdown_kg. the "kg" means Kongregate, like the shitty flash game site that gamestop owned or had a deal with or whatever. the "animationthrowdown" refers to the game on kongregate of the same name. I think the game was a promotion by FOX to advertise their cartoons like family guy and bob's burgers and stuff. I think it has gacha mechanics to it or something, I don't really know. the channel itself isn't that interesting, it's just the developers' slack channel, but the dates go back to 2016. That caught me off guard because I'm pretty sure the press releases claimed that the leak only went back to 2018 (someone can fact check me on that though). as I was digging I noticed something off about the slack domain: fox-games.slack.com. the disney one is disney.slack.com.
Now it makes some sense because everyone knows disney owns FOX. but that means that it wasn't just the main Disney slack that got leaked, AND that there are some leaks that go back earlier than 2018. I haven't found any other slack domains yet, but it's definitely something to keep an eye on.

The channel that manages SEO (search engine optimization) for Disney. seems like it's the main team for the entire enterprise. Skimming the channel list shows there's other channels for specific things like the Oscars and for their SEO on sites like Meta. Active 2020 - June 2024. if you're into this stuff then it's definitely worth a read.
recently it seems they've been paying extra attention to how the AI previews have been affecting their SEO. which is unsurprising I guess.

My name is Joel Widdows on the Entertainment and Kids Product team. My team manages the work on the ABC, Freeform, FXNOW, Nat Geo TV, and DisneyNOW websites.
We launched the Web URL obfuscation work back on May 2nd. Basically we had to update parts of the URL that mentioned show or episode titles within and replace with alpha-numeric identifiers. This work was done for all 4 entertainment brands websites (ABC, FXNOW, Freeform, and Nat Geo TV). The project was requested/authorized by legal around fortifying our sites against infringement on VPPA laws. We worked closely with <@U040TRRAKPZ> and <@U03PTMKC353> on the ABC side to minimize the SEO impact as best we could for all 4 sites. However, the decline in organic SEO traffic to our sites from search engines was anticipated. And unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done to reverse the work that was released. This has to be the state moving forward per legal’s direction.
I'm not sure whom all the correct SEO managers are that manage the various brands for Freeform, FX, and NGTV. So wanted to ping this group to announce this work. We are also doing the same work for the DisneyNOW site which is targeting 6/20 for launch.
If you are responsible for SEO for any of the brands I mentioned and need further info please don't hesitate to reach out. My apologies for the delayed announcement for the entertainment work that already released without prior notice to launch.

probably old news but Disney had plans for a new campus by Lake Nona (A) costing around $1B. apparently employees had already relocated when they decided to cancel. which I thought was pretty funny. not sure why this was in the pride channel but whatever
someone got assblasted by the picture of some politician and couldn't figure out how to hide a slack picture so someone had to walk them through it
one thing I want to point out that I thought was hilarious was that a local? bar had a 49c special on Bud Lite not long before the anniversary of the Orlando nightclub shooting AND around the same time as the Mulvaney stuff. someone wasn't thrilled about that.
there's probably some more good stuff in the chat logs but I could only stomach so much.
sorry for no major updates today. there's a long list of channel I want to check out so hopefully some bear fruit.
