Depends on what you mean by "scared". A lot of the idiots who write IMDB reviews or whatever seem to think something is only "scary" if it involves a bunch of jump scares, which I just find more cheap and unpleasant then genuinely unsettling.
I saw Hereditary high as shit in theaters and it got under my skin in a big way. That said it doesn't really hold up on repeated viewings. Most of the things that made Hereditary shocking where kind of one offs. Like now the scene with the kid in the car, I know what's coming. When I first saw it? I didn't, and it was fucking horrific to witness.
