Humor kind of groups those together oddly. Often humor offers a commentary on how things are linked to show simply that things are, in fact, linked. An example would be the Left's absolute dedication to locking down to flatten the curve followed by the right showing an upward graph on suicide rates because of the lockdown. There is a link, we probably should be aware of it, nobody wants to talk about it, and so humor is used to critique.
