Yeah, I think it also highlights itself when these same people also start writing slash/fics. Anyone who does this is without a doubt, a Troon in gestation or some other ticking time bomb. Well adjusted people just don’t have the time to crank out that kind of crap.

Yup, same here. Never had any desire or interest. So, I don't like or hate it because it's an unknown quantity to me. I do occasionally enjoy cartoons - Simpsons, Family Guy, Archer, etc. but don't watch much of them either. Suppose it's because I was raised on Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Quick Draw McDraw, Rocky and Bullwinkle and such as a kid. Looney Toons were great cartoons for their day.

Eh, writing smut is a popular female pastime. I wouldn't read too much into it. The reason why I targeted yaoi/yuri in my post is because those anime tend to glorify and objectify one gender at the expense of another. Yuri is all about how perfect and pure lesbian girls are and how their relationships defy all societal expectations and are truly one-of-a-kind. Yaoi is all about the glorification of male sexual violence. An insecure teenage boy could watch a yuri anime and feel an unhealthy amount of envy, envy which then drives him to troon out. The same could be said for a teenage girl watching yaoi.

Still sounds like a slippery slope to me.
 
Anime on its own is a medium that is predominately meant to pander to Japanese nerds, nothing more and nothing less. Some gaijins happen to be into it as well while some others are not, which is perfectly fine. And just like any other medium, anime too has declined in quality over the recent years due to its pandering to the lowest common denominator. The recent normalfag infestation is a bad omen of things to come.

Seems to me less of an anime problem but more of an insecure teenager with a myriad of untreated mental issues problem.

The west has troons because the west has become a secular, liberal, Jew-run shit hole. Plenty of other places in the world watch anime and read manga, or even produce similar such things, but they don't have a troon problem. If anything, the cesspit that is modern Western culture has corrupted anime and Eastern culture in general. To evidence this, I'd point to Chinese manhua, which is currently getting better as China has increasingly cracked down on Western globohomo shit, while Japanese manga is getting worse as Japan has been increasingly more open to modern Western influence.

I absolutely love anime! My favorite is probably Dragon Ball Z, and I don’t even mind the old school Dragon Ball Z games. I got hooked early on on that game when I saw the animated Dragon Ball Z anime series in the 80’s that I used to watch when I was younger. So, when I found out about the upcoming release of the new animated series, Dragon Ball Super, I was excited. And with the success of the movie, Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’, which I’m sure you’ve heard about by now, I just knew this would be a hit. Not to mention, the new Dragon Ball Super series has already had great reviews from the critics. And I am super excited to see what this has in store for me and the rest of the Dragon Ball fan base. So, without further ado, I will be posting my review of the first episode of the new Dragon Ball Super series.
 
Anime is just a medium, dude. The Internet is to blame for the troon outbreak. The troons are just using anime as their outlet to express their troonacy.

Sure, but certain media can exacerbate certain issues if consumed in excess. Yuri anime features and glorifies lesbians despite being made by men for men. Its not hard to see how media like that could lead a desperate incel to "become the girlfriend".

It can, but who do you think mostly watches things like Yuri and Yaoi? Neither of those is even close to being mainstream in Anime, but both of those things are very common in modern Western cartoons (Steven Universe).

At no point have I claimed it was the root cause, there’s a sickness in the west but it’s pretty fair to say that the addition of anime isn’t the fucking cure.

Then removing it isnt the cure either.

Western troonism is caused by a variety of factors, from the internet enforcing hugboxes for narcissists, decades of western decadence leading to entire generations growing up with no real problems to overcome, decades of white guilt being pushed to make white men hate themselves and seek out a way to change their identity and claw back social capital, grifters finding a new way to be above all criticism, the absence of religion leading people to uncounsously seek out a new belief system to follow, the list goes on.

Pro tip: the young black community LOVES anime. Yet they dont troon out anywhere near as often as white men do. The chinese also love anime, they dont troon out. Trooning is mainly a western europe/america/canada thing, and then only certain subsets of these countries.

So no, I dont hate anime because "muh degenracy" isnt caused by it, thus I have no reasont o hate it. It's a form of entertainment, and one that can occasionally still put out something good, more often then western media can manage these days.
 
There's some really enjoyable stuff out there, I've enjoyed it in the past and I'm sure I'll find another series that will tickle my fancy for a while too. Can't really blame it for any degeneracy either since this shit has been around since recorded history has, it's more the acceptance of it in society that is the issue.

The pendulum has swung too far to one direction, trying to tilt at the anime windmill does nothing to speed its swing the other.
