Alright guys, I'm going to bring up a subject that may be sensitive for a lot of you. Hold onto your dead man's handle because here we go!

Steam? Diesel? Or electric?

The Steam engine metagame is far deeper than any of the diesel/electric engine metas. You look at a diesel or electric engine, they look and control so similarly that you may as well be touching the proverbial skill ceiling from the moment you start one up.

Steam engines, on the other hand, have so many techs and unique combos that once you’ve gotten used to an individual loco, changing to any other steam engine is akin to relearning the game. personally I main the Blue Comet (and if I’m feeling lucky, the Peppercorn K1)

TL;DR: #TeamSteam

The WP&Y RR (White Pass & Yukon Railroad) has completed track repairs allowing tours to continue past the summit and on to Lake Bennet.

They allow booking passage on a steam engine instead of a diesel one if that is your preference.
