Jimmy Savile was granted unlimited access to childrens' wards at hospitals for years and nobody suspected a thing. Meanwhile, the FBI went hard at Michael for years and a trial, with most accusations either weak or false.
 
I've always leaned towards that he did. Makes the most sense in my head. But considering how much of a weirdo he was? I could see a possibility where truth is stranger than fiction and he didn't. I also don't trust the fucking news so I tend to second-guess a lot of stuff they say.
 
Back when he was alive, all you had to do was ask someone: would you let Michael Jackson babysit your kids?
100% of people said no because even if he didn't fuck them he was climbing into bed with them and there is no way in this world that is ok
 
Look, I agree that sleeping in either the same room or, even worse, the same bed with a bunch of (male) kids is a TERRIBLE, GODAWFUL, NO GOOD idea. It's beyond weird and veers terrifyingly close to pedophilia.

That said, that doesn't mean Jackson was having sex with those kids or molesting them in some way. There's just no way he could've gotten away with it since he was such a public figure and would've been the fattest of targets for both criminal charges and multi-million dollar lawsuits. Plus, a LOT of kids came in and out of Neverland, so if he was diddling, the odds of someone eventually coming forward would've been really high. This isn't an Epstein/Maxwell case, as nobody knew who the two were until Epstein was arrested.

He was an oddball with questionable tastes and even stranger private activities, but I just can't cross the sex pest bridge. Not yet. Yes, I have a severe bias, as I grew up in the 80s and Jackson was a cultural demigod (who didn't have a Thriller record at the time?), but outrageous Hollywood-type fame doesn't make a person a deviant by default.

As for any underage porn found at Neverland, that could've been planted for blackmail leverage. The guy had seemingly endless amounts of wealth, so he was a natural target for such.

Hey, if someone somehow proves Jackson was the worst of the worst, I'll readily admit that I was wrong. Until then, though, it's a thriller, thriller night.
 
A weird, unhealthy relationship with kids (likely stemming from his fame and his lunatic father)? Yes. Was he diddling them? That's hard to say. I think it's obvious he was an incredibly lonely person desperately hunting for the healthy childhood he never had, and I wouldn't leave a kid alone with someone like that.
 
He got acquitted, and the accusers could easily have been lying for money. I guess that's good enough for me for now. I can't trust the courts, but I know better than to ever trust the media. Jackson didn't just have fuck-you money, he had fuck-you assets like the Beatles back catalog, part ownership of Sony Music, the man was a target to be ruined as far as labels were concerned. he was a weirdo who might have touched kids, but I wonder if he ever touched anyone at any age at all for non-dance reasons.

So yeah I don't wanna think he did it. He could have. Maybe inside he was literally just a weirdo who liked kids and didn't want to be friends with adults, who would only ever want to use him for shit. Moonwalker's story section is a long anime about how not only does Michael Jackson have 2 whole friends who are 8 year olds and that's totally fine, he also is their defender from spiders, mean dogs, the Nazis, ninjas, drugs, caves, and death rays. The speed demon video is just him having a dance contest with Bugs Bunny after running from gross grownups. It's all a classic. He was certainly a manchild, and authentically one, no amount of handlers and tard wrangling kept him from being a public manchild.

He's the rare lolcow whose talent exceeds his cowdom, and with it any capacity for judgment that I have.

He had poor boundaries of how an adult should act around children, especially those he's not related to, probably due to not getting to be a child growing up. However, I don't think he was attracted to children, and while I do think he acted inappropriately around children, it wasn't sexual.

Edit for clarity: Not illegally inappropriate, just socially inappropriate.

I always assumed he molested kids based upon the demonstrable facts I did know during his trial. I was always bothered by the fact he wanted children that were not genetically his.
 
I don't think he did anything. He did however not help himself with his eccentric behavior, but given the kind of childhood he had, I don't think he could have easily helped that.
The more I hear about the freaky stuff those Hollywood people are into and all the former child stars who end up really fucked up, the more I'm convinced they needed a scapegoat, and the guy with Neverland Ranch as his house worked perfectly.

Mike was one bizzaro motherfucker who most absolutely should not have been let around young kids by their parents, but I think he drew a line between outright molestation, which is a wide line indeed.
Killer music tho. Sad that some of his songs sound weird because of his leitmotif as a kiddie diddler.
 
This is speculative and not based on evidence, but he does fit the profile of a diddler. Yes, he seemed like more of an asexual man-child than someone explicitly lusting after children, but molesters often are the way they are because they never grew up mentally and view children as their sexual peers. Just look at the Catholic priesthood, or at least the ones who vow celibacy: the lack of psychosexual development left them all thirsty pedofags. Pedophiles are often created through tragic childhood circumstances (such as being molested their selves, or being deprived of their childhood in some other way) but that doesn't give them a free pass for kid ass, even if they made Thriller.

Do I personally think he was a paedophile? Absolutely, no doubt about it. He had 'legal' photographs of naked boys in his possession, multiple people in his employ accusing him of being physically inappropriate with boys, multiple lawsuits, and every interaction he had with a family or a boy was basically Grooming 101. Not to mention the fact that he was only interested in boys specifically. He gave no shits about girls. If he was so desperate to protect children and recapture his childhood he'd also include girls as substitutes for his sisters who he was allegedly close to, but no, it was boys only for him. A clear preference for one sex, which is another piece of a damning puzzle.

OT but plenty of people knew about that pig (Savile) -
His buddies in high-places were what kept it going any further than a complaint.
