Not too many years ago I was experiencing a medical emergency, and despite the incredible pain, and the pain medication they gave me on the way to the hospital, I still managed to articulate to the ED doctor exactly what the diagnosis was based on the symptoms, and I hit it right on the head. He still managed to GET IT WRONG! Fucker nearly killed me. Unfortunately for him, he merely maimed me. That which doesn't kill me makes me that much more determined to see you suffer.

Have you watched House MD? The doctors who aren't house and company are self righteous douches with a God complex who exist to sell people drugs legally.

While obviously dramatized, the show pretty accurately portrays the hypocrisy, ego and ignorance doctors as a whole possess. After all, they are still human beings.
There used to be an online comic written by a doctor about exactly this.

The doctors would say things like:
"I want god to stop playing doctor"

Apparently it created some professional embarrasment and it was scrapped from the internet

I don't trust doctors or hospitals or pharmaceutical companies and I won't go to a hospital unless it's a life or death situation.

The medical system has repeatedly prescribed me overpriced snake oil treatments (e.g. steroids for a respiratory infection) and pushed super strength opioid painkillers on me for something minor like a broken arm. I'm better off letting my body sort out illness and injuries on its own. Doctors are gay nerds who should be paid less than garbage men.

After the coof I don't trust any self proclaimed expert who says that because they got a piece of paper framed. Too many of them think highly of themselves and forget they are human, and doctors (Medical and otherwise) themselves are largely responsible for a lot of drug addiction in the country with their wanton prescription of meds.

If I break a bone, have an infection, or need stitches I will go to a doctor. But for everything outside of that they are worthless. They never solve shit, push crappy meds on you, send you to overpriced specialists who also don't do shit. Total waste of time and money.

And I am seriously considering learning how to give myself stitches so I can be self sufficient in that area and avoid doctors for that.

Medical school and pre-med are largely people cheating and trying to sabotage their peers. So no.
