Docket (FTC-2025-0023) FTC Request for Comment on Censorship and Deplatforming

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Doomer time: Whenever an industry is about to face government regulations, the government consults people and companies in the industry on what laws should be passed since they are considered "experts" in their field. They'll get laws passed that benefit the established companies and choke out competition.
Please give me a white pill to chew on because I hate that this always happens.

If you looted [The Nicker] in World of Warcraft & had it taken away unjustly in a later patch, YOU may be entitled to financial compensation! Activision-Blizzard-King is the defendant in a class action lawsuit, and if you act now, you may qualify for a future settlement!

I like how they flat out call out demonaitizing as a form of censorship. Based FTC.
Money is speech and as i recall the US has Free speech. TBH all the shit null goes through should have earned him fucking millions in lawsuit vs those fucking companies. Society forces you to use them, they shouldnt hold control over who gets to bank or not.

I can sprinkle ~$80-$120 worth of superchats throughout the week and have them inform their viewers about it. Hopefully more eyes will participate from this.

I'm also a tad retarded about the history of KF. Researching for the report is going to take a while.
Gubment thralls also really love reading clear reports with the 5 Ws, makes their own work 10X easier.

This forum also really needs a dedicated 'Our History' page. I think Keffals, Wikipedia, and the Washington Post are, maybe, perhaps, in retrospective, a bit bias.
I'm more knowledgeable about 4chan and YouTube, being actively negatively affected by both myself; but I'm still foreign about the tapestry of affairs about KF.
negative nancies can simply rope instead of posting
I'm trying my best here. I can only type 15 wpm. It's just so much is happening right now.

Please give me a white pill to chew on because I hate that this always happens.
Politicians also adhere to guidance from principled organizations like the EFF (Electronic Frontier Foundation). They even defended KF and denounced Hurricane Electric for deplatforming. At least that's what they say.

I am banned from Twitter because I responded to a Muslim who responded to my tweet, unsolicited, with undeniable facts about Islam and they mass reported my tweet. The reason listed was "harassment," which even by their definition I did not do since I was responding to someone who responded to me, not seeking someone out and constantly messaging them. I had paid for Twitter premium and everything and was getting millions of impressions, close to being able to monetize it. I've appealed dozens of times. All of them are "reviewed by a member of their staff" within minutes aka they're being automatically "reviewed" and rejected.

Thank Comrade Musk and his legion of pajeets highly trained moderators

Let's see. The entire fucking Cathedral for starters. They have been way too censor happy. Also, make sure to point out Elliot's attempts to deplatform anyone who mentions his consent accident. That troon has done way too much damage onto the Internet as a whole and would be nice to see that freak in cuffs.

I thought Twitter is privately owned by Musk now and he can do whatever the fuck he wants
It's a business. They still need investors.

Pfff, I had a Twitter account on a throwaway that got banned for whatever in 2022. Years later I made a new one using google account since I wanted to check tweets of one cow and Musk made Twitter so accessible that now you can't even look at it. Ok, I use this account to get what I need and forget about it. Three weeks later I check spam folder and surprise - "Your account, XXXXX, was detected by our systems and automatically suspended for violating the X Rules. Specifically, for: Violating our rules against inauthentic behaviors. You may not use our services to engage in inauthentic activity that undermines the integrity of X. Note that if you attempt to evade a suspension by creating new accounts, we will suspend your new accounts." Yep, I got banned for tweeting nothing! Somehow under woke and censorship-happy previous owners I was able to tweet about trannies during #dropkiwifarms, but now I get this.

Ok, I've left a comment, but it is going to change an entire set of fuck all's. Thinking that man who tried to cancel article 230 is going to save the internet is a thought more naive than Chris thinking that Miyamoto-san was about to meet him.

The FTC needs to go the way of USAID.
The apparatus (including the FTC) is rotten. The only thing in this country that is worth saving is the people (and even that's debatable).
The FTC deciding to do its job now is irritating. They're a few billion dollars short and decades late.
They need to fall on their fucking swords. Their failure is absolute.
The empire will never recover from it.

Can't wait to read Null's effort poost to the FTC. As the most censored man on the Internet and the founder of the literal Internet Preservation Society, I think he should push to talk to someone at the FTC in person. A well written letter is one thing but redpilling regulators on just how tyrannical the censorship is would really put a fire under their ass to fix this shit. It could also help the IPS to establish itself as a legitimate force in the political realm if they started bumping elbows with regulators.
