I once read a story about an albino from Cameroon who had sought asylum in Italy. There he noticed how different life could be. Strangers no longer stared at him, cops no longer pulled him over, and he could work just about any job he pleased. People weren't too afraid to say to him hello or good day! And best of all the man no longer feared being snatched and killed on account of his skin color. Nobody saw in him something to fear or hate or destroy, they simply saw him for the man he always was.
