Not like super high end multi-million dollar ones (like something from Disneyland or Universal Studios) but those ones you go on in arcades/casinos/lower budget theme parks.
I don't know if they have them still but for some reason I had a flash back to being a kid and having my mind fucking blown by those

here are some ones I was able to dig up.

there were a couple of IMAX ones in Vegas too that I can't find online. I remember some trippy one about a guy going into a haunted castle and you had to like find his mom's ghost and you went through Hell on a weird roller coaster

I'd love to find these IRL and ride them while stoned.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who remembers these so share your experiences. Or dig some up too.

Did these things have chairs that would move with the video
Yes! Usually in a closed room. Sometimes in nice mini theaters that could even blow in scents or hot and cold air
or sometimes something more smelly and claustrophobic like this:

Oh yeah, those were the things that cost a shit ton of quarters to ride! I remember it being like three bucks a pop as a kid.

The best of these were usually cockpit-style arcade cabinets, a style of game that is sadly mostly extinct.

Specifically, these were the arcade games where you'd actually sit in them. They were a great, immersive experience, usually with big sound, and sometimes even speakers directly under your ass so they'd shake your balls when shit exploded.

I miss those things.

I did also do a few of the actual serious rides, though, like they had at Epcot Center. This one was ridiculous and retarded.

Seriously, the content of this thing sucked and was completely idiotic, but the experience was pretty cool.

I remember these, they were so cool way back when.

I remember going on Soarin! in Disney/Epcot, a flying simulation, it was pretty cool

and then I found this shit

I guess you can say things have really gone down hill AUGH YEAH

I remember one where it gives you the perspective of a bee. Can't remember the place that had it though.
