I wouldn't be the right person to ask, but if I had to guess, I think the tag system is very old/outdated and hasn't been updated to include new tags in a long time.

Especially if TikTok ends up shutting down in 4 weeks. They have a last Hail Mary attempt with the Supreme Court and then if that fails it's curtains for TikTok in the US and those derps will have to move somewhere.
