In an episode of Family Guy, it was revealed that Peter is retarded. This is also referenced in a later episode. Knowing that Chris hates retards/autistics/spergs, would he hate Peter if he knew this?

It's been discussed for years how Seth McFarlane is a liberal atheist who aggressively supports a pro-gay agenda, and yet Chris chooses to ignore that. Why would you think he'd care about Peter Griffin being a retard?
 
If anything, Peter Griffin enforced the idea in Chris that a man can be a retarded, fat, sexist, disgusting buffoon and still be adored by a smokin' hot woman for it.

Well, Seth MacFarlane has yet to make a personal, no-ambiguity-whatsoever missive to Chris about their diversity in sociopolitical views.
 
I'm not sure how he couldn't. He can quote about every Family Guy line there is to quote.
 
Chris accepts his "Slow in da mind" mental-blockedness... when it's convenient for him to do so. Therefore, since Peter is an awesome guy and the role model Chris wants, Chris sees no problem with them both being retarded. Like Bridechu said, Peter has a house, family, friends and a smoking hot wife. There's no downside as far as Chris can see, so he embraces it.

Until he needs to lean on his autism crutch and talk about how "high functioning" he is. Then he's practically the next stage in human evolution.

Yeah, he does know Peter is meant to be retarded, remember the Sonichu where he drew an alternate himself, where he turns temporarily retarded, and it was pretty much Peter Griffin in his clown shirt? Ironically, it looked more like Chris than either Peter Griffin or Sonichu comics Chris.
 
There's one scene in Family Guy where it made fun of an autistic lady. I still wondered whether Chris would rage at it or actually laughed at it.

Probably, since he seems to see Peter Griffin as a role model. No, he doesn't know that Seth MacFarlane is a liberal atheist who supports gay rights. Chris likes Family Guy for all slapstick and obvious jokes, but anything beyond that is lost on him.
