Think about it. All she wants to do is to make Kiwi Farms (A&H) understanding again. A&H is known for siding with Donald Trump and Republicans no matter what. It's to the point where Dear Leader addressed the toxicity on a thread. Even so, @Cosmos tries to bring variety onto the forums involving the state of animals. Without her, who knows what would happen to Community Watch. The only reason why people are so ashamed of her is how she moderates, not what she is trying to do. If the means were better, there wouldn't be such turmoil. She is even against the current state of Islam.

@Cosmos may be a supervisor, a woman of passion (and I mean that from the Rush Limbaugh thread) thought, a progressive, and a Catholic, but from an objective standpoint, one could say that she is a woman of good intention.

I don't mind her, but milquetoast liberal talking points, which is most of her posting, are as boring as a bunch of polfugees shouting about niggers.
Still better than nigger posters I guess.
E: That link you posted - that's the other side of the coin. Histrionic screeching so offensively stereotypically female I am starting to think we're dealing with a caricature to make women look like unhinged, hormonal psychos.

I don't know. I think 2015 or 2016 with Community Watch. Jokes aside, I'm a little serious. Why do people hate Cosmos on here?
Could you provide some examples? I have no idea whats supposed to be going on.

Cosmos has a big heart, but she's selectively myopic about things.

She fails to realize how her own party is the cause of many of the foibles that bring suffering, death and poverty to those that she holds herself above and views with the mercy of a forsaken goddess.

Conversely, when she tries to smack down the hammer on us cynical, dirt and mud-slathered plebs, she also gets caught off-guard that upon flinging shit, she gets flung shit in return.

I find her to be a good person, deep down, but someone who is deeply misguided and uninterested in getting wiser and better about it.

I just find her confusing. I constantly see her referred to as "The nicest person on the board" but every interaction I've ever had with her has been her kicking the door in, shrieking at everyone in the thread and then stomping back out again when she gets any sort of negative reaction. That's not to say that I think she's a bad person, I just don't think that she handles her emotions very well when it comes to politics, and much more often than not that results in a lot of profane outbursts against people that she's personally deemed morally reprehensible for whatever reason. I'll be honest: It's usually a strawman.

She wears her heart on her sleeves, I guess you could say. That's not always a bad thing, but aggressively pro-left stances are every bit as annoying as aggressively pro-right stances, especially when they come packed with lots of insults and profanity. In that same instance, though, Ashy is completely juxtaposed to the general culture in A&H but people actually like Ashy, now, and he's way further off to the left than Cosmos is.

When Ashy first showed up and acted the same way, people thought Ashy was annoying. Now that Ashy's not wildly tossing shit and just talking things out with everyone instead, people are much more receptive and accepting of them. It's not the politics that annoy people, it's the behaviour.

But I have to agree with this too. Yeah, my jab upthread was really nasty, but I'd be bit sad if she got up and left.
If nothing else, someone has to call out the other side of the political spectrum, and I can't bring myself to explain to my fellow rightwinger for the umpteenth time that women and jews aren't the sub-niggers of religions/genders.

Fucking alt right nazis
Thoughts and prayers to the victims

Misguided? She usually provided evidence with her posts and opinions, that's more than the average user does. Myself included.

That's why I enjoy her contributions on this site. It's nice to counter-argue those right wing fringe posts with citations, intellect and reasoning.

Interesting point you made. I haven't seen such examples of her trying to stir the pot with A&H. But about your post with Ashy, I think because Ashy is just a normal user on here compared to Cosmos' Supervisor position, he's going to get shit for his far left posts because he doesn't know the dynamic of how users discuss on here.

And Cosmos is very vocal against Islam, I'd figured that would cause similar ire and common ground against her liberal viewpoints.

I don't want to necessarily speak on her behalf (she's going to be surprised seeing her tag on a thread about her) so she may come in and either move this or delete it or speak for herself.

She is misguided because precisely those sources that she cites are made with persuasion, not information, in mind. Media Matters? David Brock-owned, someone with deep ties to Hillary Clinton and John Podesta. Remember Pizzagate? He was two degrees of separation from Podesta. He's one from George Soros. So, you see, a lot of people on the Right are going to see her cited sources with a lot of skepticism.

Because, whether we like it or not, we follow the money.

On another hand, I'd like to put you on the spot, right now. I noticed in @Iwasamwillbe's conversation with Cosmos that you were white knighting and moving goalposts for her over the discussion, perhaps acting as a very biased moderator.

What is your stake in this? Are you getting her BLACKED? What is your aim? She can defend herself, or at least I hope she can. It's a cruel world out there, for sensitive people.

Since when has anyone on Kiwi Farms ever had any iota of respect for the staff or moderators? Calling us shit-eating jannies is a time-honoured tradition and I demand that you insult me. Ashy used to be very hostile to people in A&H and as a result A&H absolutely hated them and I constantly saw reports asking for their messages to get deleted for slap-fighting or some other reason. Now that Ashy's calmed down, I legitimately never see those reports anymore.

The content of Ashy's posting hasn't changed; he's still a Bernie-supporting borderline-Communist who loves Socialism, but the way he behaves now is completely different compared to his original appearance. Contrary to popular belief, no one in A&H really cares if you lean Left, and I'd actually stake a bet on A&H's userbase being primarily Center-Left and people who got bucked off the Democrat bandwagon when they went insane in 2016.

Seriously, it's not someone's politics that irks people in A&H, it's whether or not they can get their point across without raging at people about it. Just look at how often people come in with 8chan-tier rage-posting and how quickly they get slammed for it. Is A&H getting fired up because they're right-wing, or is A&H getting fired up because this person is acting goofy?

Edit: I just went and checked, and yeah, I had to go back 11 pages in the reports, to December 2019 (About 550+ reports) before I found one for Ashy, and it was for posting a gigantic image that the user wanted resized. People don't report Ashy anymore.

Fair point. I'm actually glad you mentioned that.

I've considered myself fairly left-leaning, but disagree with the direction the Democratic Party is going. It was nice to see similar people with similar views on a site like this. She wasn't too far from reality compared to other people in their 20s.

Admittedly, it was nice to see two people of similar age and experience but conflicting political beliefs clash together. I suppose you have a point of me being biased; I found it hard to take the side of anything remotely racist or bigoted (which explains my "ideology)."

I don't know; I find her fascinating.

However, this may be reaching, but I came to the conclusion that her and @Iwasamwillbe are more aligned than they may think. Cosmos was raised Catholic, which is typically conservative. So, her beliefs are from such a stance background. And with Iwasamwillbe, his home state of California is practically unlivable because of far-left policies. I even expressed I understand where he's coming from NOW.

Does that answer your question?
