Does it make a difference if I use a Coaxial cable for my sub pre out or an RCA?

When using a regular composite cable for a sub do you lose/gain anything from going through the preout with a Coaxial over a traditional Composite cable?

I don't know much about audio but I do know that coaxial leads to higher quality than RCA/Composite in most cases.

What do you mean by a 'coaxial cable' in this case? Some RCA-terminated cables will be 'coaxial' too.
