Years from now, people will find my sordid history with KiwiFarms and ask that very same question.

I do get uncomfortable with some of the things said on this site. I do find myself defending my stance on issues a lot harder than I usually have to in real life. But I think that's what brings me back at all; it brings me a different viewpoint id have never considered.

I wont pull a DStecks and pussy out of here though. Fuck that noise

Being a leftie shouldn't mean you can't bear to hear anyone else's ideas. Likewise it doesn't mean other people lose their right to speak.

I cannot stand the sjw 'communist' crowd who have no idea what the word means and seem to think it stands for them being lauded as royalty. Ditto supposed anarchists.

As pointed out here on Kiwi Farms and borne out in reality, this newfangled 'left' stupidity in putting the tiniest minority first and telling everyone else to stfu and piss off is making all left wing parties ever more unelectable by the day. How they think that benefits them is anyone's guess, but in their world being the most hated and picked on is 'winning' somehow. It's a good job the real world isn't Twitter and Tumblr.

I don't actually see the right or extreme right getting any more extreme. It's just that anyone who disagrees with the idiot Tumblr crew is being labelled a Nazi. Labelling people the enemy and refusing to allow them to speak is a sign of fascism, and the only side doing that is the left right now.

KF has utterly failed to turn me even slightly to the right, let alone "alt." I may, in fact, have gone a little more left of where I already was as a reflexive counterreaction to some other users' positions. The thing is, I probably agree with Dear Leader on very little politically, but no one can say he hasn't remained a balls-to-the-wall First Amendment absolutist at extreme personal cost. Debate his principles all you want, but he fucking well sticks to them. That's not nothing.

Being here at Kiwi Farms has made me learn to respect ALL sides, left, right, and center. Being here has also made me increase my hatred of politics in general (as well as showing off brilliantly IRL why my country (the US) is such a mess in general, besides other things.) - fuck politics.

kiwi farms is definitely alt right.
for ex - I will write lamo whypipo n it will get deleted .

enjoy it nonetheless. it has community so you get to interact with ppl you prefer .

you get to know n discuss current affairs.

you get to feel better about yourselves by laughing on lolcows .

you even get book n recepie suggestions.

you don't get to thirst here bcoz probably only old married woman hang here .

in short kiwi farms make you have a different perspective on life than any other medium

I pretty much fall right into the demographic of what Cumtown describes as "The Dirtbag Left". Left of center, though not really enough to give a shit about it.

If anything KF just feels dead center to me. Everyone is mocked equally, nobody gets special treatment. People here don't care about your politics so much as they care about whether you're acting like an retarded faggot they can milk for laughs.

I was once a card-carrying vegan and voted for Obama fifteen times in three different states. By the end of my first week here I was stockpiling guns and beef jerkey so I could survive the backlash after loudly voting for Donald Trump (in the immediate days after, I had to fight off countless ANTIFA goons conviniently disguised as mailmen, neighbors, and small children). I didn’t even attend “Unite the Right” because it was too feel-good-liberal-hippy-commune for my standards. Kiwi Farms made me what I am, and if this were still yesterday, I’d throw in something nice about China.

I'm pretty much moderate left with some right-wing streaks (notably my REMOVE KEBAB autism). KF just made me see how autistic both sides are, which besides Tumblr telling me to fuck off because I'm literally Hitler made me identify more as a centrist. Well, in the context of international politics at least. I'm only "alt-right" in my shithole country where the left is what would be considered "regressive left" in the US and the right is left-wing for rich kiddies, but that hasn't been influenced by KF whatsoever.

Just to add some of my thoughts, KF's reputation as an "alt-right hate site" is probably not helped by new users that completely missed the point of the site because they think that reputation is 100% correct (Brandobaris, Transvaalan, FuckYou), and in turn, making perfect nutcases for cherry-picking.

I think this site has slightly shifted my political views. I've pretty much always been a centrist, but before I joined this site I tended to lean more to the left on most issues. After discovering this site, I've found that I actually side more with the right. I still wouldn't consider myself "alt-right" or even a Republican.
