Have a think about it, sonic can jump super high and run fast same as jedi.
Does sonic the hedgehog get his speed from midichlorians making him a jedi?

Erm, acktually according to the sega of america sonic development Bible and fleetway UK comics he got his speed from a lab accident when professor kintobor put him on a special treadmill or some shit.
That was the old western Canon with the mobius stuff, the Japanese Canon that eveyone started using post adventure and the archie comics is, uh.... nothing. sonics speed literally has zero explanation, maybe his mom used a chaos emerald as a buttplug when she was getting knocked up. Its also quite possible he was an immaculate birth and is destined to bring balance to the force, nothing in the lore dispoves that.
