Does the quality of the whiskey matter when you mix it with coke and xanax?

Sorta does though. While I haven't tried it with xanny peated (smoky) whisky don't go well with sweet Coke and Grant's (the one in the rounded triangle bottle) is nearly undrinkable in general. Those aside use whatever you want - Jim Beam, Jack D's, Ballantine's, Johnnie Walker, Jameson, Four Roses, and the list goes on.
