I always wonder why people choose the names they do. The weird thing about a username is that it can have personal significance, like your real name... but you got to choose this name.

At least in my experience, I try to pick usernames that are either based on things I like, or which I think are catchy.

I'll start. For Kiwi Farms I wanted to make a username I never used before, and I remembered Wolfenstien's ridiculous "Mecha-Hitler" boss battle... the idea always amused me.

But Hitler and Nazi's suck. So I needed a Mecha-SomethingElse. Then I chose V. I. Lenin because I am a pinko commie bastard. The End.

I chose Valiant because it was very close to my first initial thought for a username that I was going to register but after a while the name just was too.. dumb... I initially used it in an MMO and pretty much became pretty synonymous with me and kept that name with me for years. I kind of retired it with Valiant.
