seeing fariha as ash's partner/love interest on the oc card inspired me to check fariha's toyhou.se page. the grand toal images our lady of the hour has is....9. not bad, compared to the oodles of other ocs that wont get even one picture til the end of the year, fariha's doing well. however...isnt fariha kind of important? i mean, shes the main character's gf tea, shouldnt she have more pictures? maybe not ash, elliott, or bailey levels of pictures, but just a few more? idk, maybe its silly of me to expect tearzah to stop drawing ash for the 30496th time

i thought ash has shiny toes in this picture, but nope: those are ash's toenails. im so used to seeing that white shine on noses and lips i just saw this as ash with unnaturally shiny (perhaps greasy?) feet. ew
what even is this picture anyway? its on an ash base, but they just have some shirts on...no pants? socks and shoes? a purse or bag? this picture serves no purpose (as if any of tea's art serves a purpose, they're never going to draw real story related content) because we know tea's never going to draw ash in this anyway. just chokers and that one off-the-shoulders black shirt with the big white collar

Is it just me or does the headshot of Ash actually look cute? IDK why though- although I would still appreciate it if Tea stopped drawing them drooling like a lobotomized halfway house resident.

I think tearzahs more recent art style is a lot better than the GIANT eyelashes glowing weird shit, it's even lazier than it was before but I think in general looks it's better, if she actually like put some time into shading, texture, and anatomy I think it has potential.
But alas, this is tearzah we are talking about.

most ppl redraw things to emphasize the issues with the anatomy, technical skill, and stuff revolving around tea's art in general, but the ppl that redesign characters are honestly just showing off. lets be real
edit: also according to tea's newest youtube drop they absolutely read this thread and take a lot of the criticism here to heart to try and change up their art. I've noticed that tea changes a lot about their art style as its brought up on this thread, like about characters being to short and looking chibi and childlike. It's almost admirable but they're still gross to their core as long as they harbor bavid's creepy-ass.

Kind of wish Tea did more between the dynamic of Ash, Bailey and Vlad. I’m not talking a threesome but weren’t Vlad and Ash ‘happily’ together? Then Bailey came into the picture and...the storyline is pretty blurry to me, tried to woo Ash away or smth? Were they ever officially together or was he just a creepy stalker Ash tapped on the side?
Anyway, I feel like I have a bias for Vlad but I really do think there could’ve been a story to be told there.
There’s a sense of romance and tragedy somewhere in this dynamic, but it’ll likely be more on Vlad’s side which is probably why Tea didn’t take this route because it would take away the spotlight from Ash.
I mean you could tell a poignant story of a bunch of messed up people trying to find approval and love in all the wrong places, and fucking themselves up even more. Compare that to “two mentally-unstable lesbians somehow living happily ever after, also one of them has a stalker.”
I don’t know, I just think it’s a lot more interesting than what Ash and Fariah have got going on. Comparing Fariah and Vlad’s back story the latter has more potential in terms of their dynamic with Ash’s craziness that just wasn’t explored.
Sure she could take this route with Fariah but for all her perceived “flaws” the characters just seems like she’s the perfect big tiddy goth gf. Meanwhile Vlad, he seemed like a total fuckin’ loser all around.

Millie and Noni got new thumbnails since they're going to be in one of Tea's games as the protagonists. Augustus also got a new thumbnail, but nobody cares about Augustus.

The summary of Ash and Vlad's relationship when dating is still up on Toyhouse.
All sides of the relationship were extremely fucked up, since Ash didn't really "love" Vlad romantically but Ash loved Vlad. Now Vlad's a "secondary" character. The Ash/Vlad/Bailey dynamic was much more interesting than the Ash/Fariha/Bailey one because it was more developed, and we still don't know much about Fariha as a character despite the fact she's one of the main characters now. She's just "secretive & sweet lesbian gf whos mentally ill uwu", and we don't know any of her own motivations besides medical school.
Now, not to get
here, but the relationships and story changed after Banny came into the picture... the Ash/Vlad relationship was developed before Bailey was created and well before Banny was around, and their dynamics always seemed to be nearly nonexistent save for dominant Ash/cuckold Vlad.

Thanks for finding this haha, I was going off of what I knew from lurking on her DA circa 2015 to now. This pretty much confirms my thoughts on the matter, the relationship Ash and Vlad had together is much more realistic and nuanced than Fariah’s. Judging from the artwork she had of them they did have their moments where they all lovey-dovey and supposedly happy but in the end these two have some deep-seated issues that reflect in the way they treat each other.
She had a lot of material to work with for these characters but she just had to go “Lesbian romance fantasy”. Honestly I don’t even mind that Ash turns lesbian, it just happened to be that the way Tea decided to go about it is incredibly uncompelling and disruptive to what we know about the characters. Really does feel like she’s idealizing her relationship with Banny and it’s spilling on to the hordes of lesbian characters she’s making.

I will admit, I think Augustus could be a decent character if they were given an actually personality and we knew anything about the circus they supposedly lead. Too bad they're doomed to scrap fodder.

I agree, I honestly wish she kept the Ash/Vlad thing because it was, as you've all said before, more interesting and realistic since you have two mentally unstable characters together that'll eventually fuck one and another up. It had more realistic aspects to it because there ARE relationships out there that are like that and maybe in the end after the fall out between the two of them Ash could have sought help mentally, or maybe Elliot stepped in and got Ash some help with their disorders which eventually leads to Ash realize they weren't into males and men were just there to fill up the loneliness.

Hey I've been following this thread for a while now and I've been meaning to make an account to shit on tea too thus I'm here. I know links to teas patreon and I may supply some imagery every now and again if so desired. Added note her art style sucks and I really hate how her anatomy got even worse than what it used to be, it wasn't perfect to begin with but the way she draws bodies, hands, feet etc really gross me out. It just looks so fucking ugly, a lot of the fingers and toes look like literal sausages I mean look at this
It's not only this that sucks with her art but the way that these look make me cringe more over everything else in her arts anatomy
