Quick note…while waiting in the courtroom, Miriam Yaniv was giving JY some kind of prescription meds, which he happily popped. Maybe she should take some meds. The way she walked in and out of the courthouse like a raving lunatic indicates to me that she’s not stable at all.​

Yaniv introduced his “bodyguard” (the rent-a-cop) to the Judge, who looked at him and said, “Your bodyguard? There’s three sherriff’s in this courtroom.”. I imagine the conversations in the courtroom coffee room are hilarious.

Yaniv also asked the Judge to issue an order stating that Kari Simpson was being disruptive and the Judge refused. The Judge said she was helpful to Donald.

It was a phone conference. Yaniv was supposed make a submission in support of his claim that small claims court has jurisdiction (they don't). Apparently the judge eluded to the fact that if JY doesn't provide this submission then DFS could recover costs.

His no show, (they couldn't reach him by phone), is indicative of a great unravelling. All hell is breaking loose with the law and he hasn't had a win since he had DFS jailed. His neo-mangina is rotting, he is ostracized by everyone in the LGBT community, his neighbours, the police and the whole internet. Something drastic is about to happen. I hope it falls on the side of 41%ing instead of hurting someone else. He's completely unhinged.

He was to make a "submission"? Does that mean he was to have provided them to the court prior to the phone call hearing?

Usually costs are only awarded for direct legal costs. Kari did a lot of the preparation and they possibly had some legal help but it might have been pro bono. I’d be surprised if she can bill Donald for her time as part of a costs claim as she’s not a lawyer. It’s unlikely that the costs claim would be significant and might just be administrative costs, filing fees, possibly travel costs, maybe at a stretch accommodation costs or loss of wages, It does however create a precedent, something for Yaniv to consider because the next time he sues somebody a lawyer will be more likely to defend them on a no win no fee basis knowing that there is a history of costs being awarded against Yaniv.

I'm not claiming the list is comprehensive or the figures 100% accurate but just an estimate for the cases that had documentation somewhere....was simply curious as to how much this legal eagle has actually lost by either withdrawing or by outright losing. Sweeter still, in some he lost his own actual money ie filing, and/or service fees.

It's far rarer NOT to see several squad cars parked close to the courthouse. Especially when cops have to testify to some numbnuts contesting a speeding ticket hoping the officer will no-show.

I see lots of people laughing, thinking Donald won this, but they don't realise that when someone is acting like a tard, and following you after court, the only valid legal option is to drop the case, because reasons.

No word as yet as to what will happen if court-tarding and post-court following continues at the restraining order hearing. Whatever the outcome, though, it will be due to other things and absolutely not a defeat.
