She sucks at diets because she just has no self control and is more or less addicted to eating. Nobody in the house will ensure she sticks to a diet because she's such a bitch but also because she'd figure out a way to sneak food somehow and they all rely on her YT income so they're not going to challenge her even if it's in her best interest.

If Amber actually wants to lose weight, the lazy part of her ensures the only thing she'll want is some kind of miracle cure that will instantly fix her weight issue forever. Absolutely no part of this solution must require effort on her part to maintain it, which means even a gastronomic bypass or whatever the procedure to shrink somebody's stomach is called will not work because she'd just go right back to shoving food down her gullet and render the entire surgery pointless.

You know, the more I think about it the more I think that Rickie just avoids her as much as possible. I think he's the only one who doesn't depend on her for jack shit and he's not going to be a part of the shitshow unless Eric makes him by going to dinner with them. I don't even think they play board games all together anymore. I think at least Rickie is straight up over her and has been almost from the get go. Eric needs to get on board. Rickie's his husband and he's lucky that he has a partner who's willing to support him and do all the other heavy lifting around that house. Maybe that's why the tension is so thick it's almost visible these days.

ETA: At least in the case of the gays, they have no obligation to parent a 500+++ elbee toddler. Becky, on the other hand, took that responsibility head on and she's cowed into submission by being completely dependent on AL>.

Anyone else more intrigued about these supposedly subtle hints about Things Happening and I Haz a Sad than whatever bollocks she'll make up about her weight?

I know :optimistic: but the general atmosphere in the house, especially when the lads are there - and Ricky is barely a presence in her vuhlooorgs any more - plus Becky's checked-out attitude and even worse case of resting bitch face than usual.....something is not running the way Big Albert ordains.

I hope Becky has grown a pair. Her saying "clean YOUR car" (and we,all know who'll do the cleaning) was truly pitiful. I know she asked for it, I know she had all the warning in the world, she's far from perfect etc etc. But "your car" just summed up succintly every stupid, wrong move Becky has made. The only thing she's not fucked herself over with is staying with the queens. If she moves out with Bg Al, she's a goner.

She lost weight via the stomach bug method as well. It was the catalyst for her annual beginning of the year weightloss journey.

I mean, the surgery will make her throw up if she eats to much and if she doesn't stick to the diet she will die. Gastric bypass isn't an easy way out.

I'm suprised she doesn't have one every day with all the filth they live in.
If that worked it would get me to think that maybe maybe I should just get one. Could be dangerous but then again her whole lifestyle is dangerous.

I don't remember if it was here or somewhere else but I heard of people even getting tapeworms willingly as a medical treatment. Freaking gross just to think about it but....yeah too gross. I'll pass on that thought

Whatever weight she tells you, add 30 pounds. Back when she was hanging on to the 497 lie I figured she was really 530. If she says 505 than it’s probably 535.

Day 1. Wears sparkly silver eye makeup from Kroger’s. Ends day in bed with makeup on.

Day two. Paints a teal wing over remnants of sparkly silver makeup. Ends day with makeup.

Day 3, wakes up and says she’s been crying. Make up is gone, face is splotchy, face contorted looking for the “light”. Just brown rings around the eyes.

My guess for the big problem: she wants to move out, the queens want her to move out, Necky wants to stay and the queens want Necky to stay.
 
Becky era is so boring. I know we say it’s like Groundhog Day and the same video over and over. But like - Becky era is seriously watching the same video over and over. All the other eras at least were morbidly amusingly to watch. This shit is boring as hell. Like it’s hard for me to make fun of her cause she’s not really producing any content. Just the same thing over and over. I mean, I knew the journey to 600 pounds would eventually stagnate as she lost her mobility. But YAWN. At least we are getting so close. I’m a little excited about that. New high weight! I’m going to say 510. (90 more to go!)

IIRC, she was on phentermine, which is often prescribed with Topamax. It's chemically similar to amphetamines, so it's supposed to kill your appetite and give you diarrhea so you just crap out whatever you do eat. Big AL, of course, decided to vlog herself eating a large pizza when she wasn't even hungry while taking it. Basically, it will help you lose weight, but only if you want to in the first place.
 
"I need to do a program that I know works" So basically a program in which you don't have to make any sacrifices or change your current eating pattern. Good luck with that.

Also, all diets work. Even the stupid ones. They all work on the same principle. Eat less. All diets can also fail. On one principle; eating more.

You fool. Modern medicine is no match for amberlynns consumption. Resistance is futile. All will be consumed. Mass will continue to expand. No science you humans comprehend can stop it. Valiant effort doctor but there is no hope to be found here. Only decay.
