DOOM

I don't get it, why are people not making OC instead of leeching of others franchises?
because they love the franchise more than the people that actually get paid to make a game in said franchise.

and it's way, way easier to build on top of an already established idea over starting from absolute scratch.
I'm assuming most people wanting to put this much effort into a fan project that blows anything the actual Devs make, is so they can focus 100%
on making the visuals and animation,

plus again when you look at that trailer. he's doing it because he loves it.
fucking look at ANYTHING that besthesda has made in the last fucking 15+ years and tell me they're not fucking bug people.
that 1 guy is worth more than the entire Starfield, fallout 76, fallout tv show team.
not money, but sheer love for the craft, and the shit he's making

Fallout was made by faggots from the start.
Actually, it was mostly made by straight white guys. Tim even made a video how he was the only gay guy there and how he was in the closet at the time.
Also, I should point out that the only Fallout game with pride flags is Fallout 76, which was not only made by Bethesda but also has the highest amount of gays and trannies playing it out of all the games(yes, even New Vegas, that is largely just a meme).
Seeing the Marathon trilogy remade this way would be pretty sick.
I don't see why, Marathon already aged rather well for what it is. If anything, Marathon is the kind of game that could use a proper 3D touch up, since the sprites look really good for the time. If only there was a new Marathon game coming out that could actually serve as a reboot for the franchise and update it to the modern standards, but I guess since that's never happening we can only dream.

doesn't really matter if someone likes to take it up the ass if his works doesn't reflect that or these days is all it is about.
this is why people mocked tesla until he started cooking up shit rather than taking up his pooper, at least that's what [[[historians]]] say.
if you don't know the joke, the brackets thing means IDF and jewish commies (oxymoron i know) on the JFK files.

they would rather fuck up and make a extraciton shooter rather than just pick what they done and repurpose as a single player game with campaign because extraction shooters are faster to shit out and you don't need a horde of jeets to shit up even more.

In an age where the phrase AI is in every other sentence inside tech, you'd think that marathon would see a real resurgence. That they would return to the ideas from the original trilogy with a renewed fervor, but no. You get space tarkov with stolen art assets.

You got to understand, ChatGTP couldn't write them a good script so they went with plan B to make the game a multiplayer extraction shooter. Their other AI programs also couldn't think of anything for the textures, so they had to steal something off a random on twitter, making games is hard work you got to understand.

Only tangent to Doom, but I talked on that an animated series could be a good way to do content without making another game, since the story is pretty much done for now and the franchise should rest.

A Wolfenstein series, IMO, could work as a kinda goofy, but passion project from the 2000's, in the post irony era I'm pretty sure the writers will just mess up the concept of "guy fighting bad guys" hard and make it a boring experience, the same way Marvel somehow is incapable of making a Blade film.

And being honest, even animation would still suffer the risk of becoming a boring mess or getting the Netflix adaptation treatment.
