Hopefully they address gameplay complaints in the DLC like the low ammo count and normal punches not doing damage.

And that mysterious voice that screamed, "NOOOOO!"Oh, so we're heading back to the Makyr realm? Good, we need to see what they've been doing with that loose thread regarding Vega

It feels a bit imprecise.Dash does damage so effectively replaces the standard punch
Following the events of the main story, your victory over Hell’s armies pulled humanity back from the edge of extinction - but it came at a cost. An imbalance of power in the heavens requires the true ruler of the universe to rise and set things right.
What does this mean for you? It means prepare to wage war across never-before-seen realms of the DOOM Universe, square off against new demons and wield new abilities in your never-ending battle against the forces of evil! Catch a glimpse of the new realms that await the Slayer in the images below:
This sounds less like DLC and more like an expansion pack a la Resurrection of Evil. It takes place after the original, features new abilities and enemies, and tries to expand the universe somewhat. I'm down for it; at the very least it doesn't seem like it will be recycling content and shit. My only concern is why this had to be cut off from the main game; the campaign's ending doesn't end as much as it stops, and this sounds like really important story material that should have been there to begin with.So a bit more info on the DLC was released. From the article-
Sounds like ya boi Samuel is going to get his chance to implement that different leadership he was proposing while you were fighting your way through Nekravol. I’m always down for more enemies, but more abilities? The slayer’s toolkit already feels a bit unwieldy, albeit decently manageable once you really master it. Hope they don’t go too far overboard.
I would also like to know when it comes out. I'm hoping it's soon.
Hopefully there’s bugfixes along with it. The Arc Complex master level has been bugged for weeks such that you can’t go into the final elevator to foght the marauder. On that note, I‘m hoping “year one pass” doesn’t end up being a misnomer. Either way, the empowered demons update should be dropping pretty soon, so that should be a good bit of content for the interim. Best case scenario, we see a bit more during the summer games festival that Doritos Pope organized. I believe Bethesda plans to participate.
I hope we will get more angel type enemies. TheSo a bit more info on the DLC was released. From the article-

Apparently some of the master levels are apparently going to be locked behind Twitch Prime.
Dick move.
Why are publishers suddenly wanting kernel-level DRM in their games? Vanilla-ass Denuvo already causes problems; and the normal protocol is to remove it after some time passes. They also just bundled the exact same kind of kernel level driver that Riot's new game right got shit on for. And there is no way to run the game without it, even in singleplayer. Tangible performance hit, and widespread reports of instability, crashing, even save data being deleted. I'm not touching the game again until or unless they fix this.
It would be fine as a side mode, but it's just not dynamic enough for an FPS.The worst part is, it's not even DRM. They already have DRM which is nowhere near as intrusive as this. This garbage is strictly for anti-cheat fraction a multiplayer mode that I imagine only a small fraction of the playerbase actually cares about. It's not cheating that drives people away from battlemode. It's the fact that it's a multiplayer mode in a Doom game that isn't Deathmatch. It's just not going to have much appeal, no matter what they do. And saddling people who just want to play the campaign in peace with this shit is utterly moronic. FFS disable battlemode for people who don't want to run anti-cheat if it's that big a deal.
