I don't know, they were all pretty garbage, even for troll WADs. I think the only troll WAD I ever enjoyed was Atomic Attack, and that's because there was much more to it than just "let's earrape the player and spam obscenities on the screen".

There's not much to say, really. The whole thing is just weird. It is no secret to anyone that Kontra Komando is one of the most demented, fucked up, schizophrenics in the Doom community. He now introduced his new persona, that of a tone policing, preachy Doomworld troon, and him getting admin rights to go with it, just rubs me the wrong way, man. Why would i waste my time with that forum anymore, when that cunt deletes all my posts, under the pretence of "toxicity and gatekeeping"? This is something i simply cannot agree with, because all the people i've attacked have always done more damage than good for Doomer Boards. I've tried to explain that to 40oz, but he's a troon loving cuck, so he'll never understand. And we're not talking about a huge number of "victims", either. A lot of new users registered to DB, after Troonworld banned the DBPs, and to most of them i've been very welcoming. I even gave retards like DoomGuy999 and Legendary Metal Games a chance for a while, but they've crossed the line of how much retardation i can tolerate. Same with that JackwesterKey, who we talked about here not long ago, for spamming the same thread on Troonworld, asking people to make maps for him. And don't even get me started on that Hakros fuck...
Fuck it, i'd rather be forumless, or stick around here. That being said, i've been keeping a close eye on Time of Death's forum, which he created in the summer of 2024. For a long time ToD didn't do anything to improve or grow the place... i don't even know why he made it to begin with, but after getting some critique, he relinquished the admin rights to Stodgy Ayatollah, who's been doing a great job to bring some life to the forum. So, if anyone's interested, help us grow the place, register, share, comment, if you like. There's currently a community project running there, centered around collaboration. There's another project in the plans for next year. Another thing that needs more attention is the Wad Autopsy threads, where each month we get a carefully chosen shitty Troonworld wad, to play and then rip to shreds in the thread for a laugh.

Any criticism will get you banned because you are derailing the thread full of undeserved praise.
I'm jumping with joy just thinking about the Espi award! I think DW essentially bans them on sight, and most of the Terry mappers moved on. One of the OGs dropped into the thread a long while ago, Nambona I think?
Given some of the responses I saw to Stop Killing Games, there are a worrying number of people who would think pirating decades old games "hurts the developers," never mind the people under that company almost assuredly don't work there anymore or get residuals for that game.

Convenience of having it in your steam/GOG library and not having to redownload a torrent for an aging title that may or may not have seeders. (Not Necessarily Blood.)
I usually pirate games and if I like them and play them to completion, I wait 2-4 years until they're worth around 2$-15$ depending on the game then buy them from key sites so I don't have to have the torrent on my hard drive forever if I want to play it and free up some SSD space.
Also, If you buy games from key sites, those companies will likely never get your money, only the key seller. I paid 1.53$ for fresh Supply.

Pretty much a paid patch for their previous release Fresh Supply. I pre ordered with the discount it had which made it cost 10 dollars. I played for a bit and refunded. It's a fucking mess.

TL;DR: They found the original game's source code and rebuilt it from the ground up again on the KEX engine with multiplayer and more mod support which is good, but it's not 25-30$ good.
It's also just as buggy as fresh supply was on release.
