It's due to the fact that rachael and few others notable doom community "celebs" have made sure that nothing beats gz. It wasn't something new when there have come the news about source port makers leaving doomworld en masse, for example, due to harassment and warnings/bans from dw jannies. DSDA and RZDoom, k8vavoom are most notable cases.

The (G)ZDoom developers have an autistic paranoia of not wanting to distribute the port with assets based on the game's graphics, they think Bethesda can come at them at any minute if the port has them, which is why the executable icon changed from being a sprite of the Doomguy to their own GZD logo, despite other ports that come with modded game assets existing and not having any issues.

Funny to see that the one guy that seems the most rational in this entire fiasco just so happens to be Polish. I don't know what it is, maybe, as PillowBlaster has said, it has something to do with how Poland was still under a communist regime merely four decades ago and there is still plenty of people alive today who remember and are aware of what those extremes lead to. And you try to be reasonable about what you see around you, and when you realize that this community you tried to fit in is completely unreasonable and rotten to the core something in you breaks.

I have a feeling something similar might happen to Silent in the GTA community. He's also Polish, and AFAIK he never delved into any of his personal views and only focused on modding GTA and other games. Perhaps one day a similar turmoil will happen in that community, and he'll try to be reasonable in a community full of unreasonable people, and that will be his moment of realization. Hopefully I'm not wrong on betting he's one of the more saner people, you never know. The tranny cancer has infested the Polish side of affairs too.

The difference now is it's far, far easier and we've been on a slip and slide that's made increasingly younger populations pornsick and the relative anonymity of increasingly accessible chatrooms as the amount of the world's population that has internet access has increased in turn has created an issue that cannot be easily addressed. Connecting this directly to one of the groups you mentioned as somehow not specifically being related to pedophilia, transgenderism, seems to have quite the issue with acting like teens and even children can 'consent' to things that were unthinkable to give such age groups any agency in years prior. Sure, we had people like John Money but these were isolated incidents most people were not made aware of and would rightfully declare as wrong. Now a concerning amount of people would fight you if you said someone barely in their teens shouldn't 'be able' to transition.

I agree to an extent but it isn’t hard for me to see why those three groups are dismissed as especially egregious pedo magnets. Furry culture is all about degenerate sex. Anime is a medium where sex appeal is so prevalent and broadly catered to that shit like loli is normalized (not to mention the overabundance of anime and manga that sexualize high schoolers). Troons are self explanatory. They’re all things that are overrepresented by sex and sexuality, and they have a ton of overlap. Pedos are everywhere and not every loud furfag or ardent weeb is a pedo, but some things are significantly bigger red flags than others.
