They would need people that are actually competent in terms of resource making. Not saying about music, they already have esselfaggot and Jimmy for the musician position. But what about actual texture, sprite artists? I know there are still some sprinters in the wild but I haven't seen new and shiny shit in many years already. The last thing that was relatively new and fresh was OTEX pack. And that's it. And that's just textures many of either troongoons, slaughter mappers or just amateur mappers use. There was no proper texture packs done from scratch in a good while, same goes for many other game resources. Yes one can say that Doom is kind of strict regarding it's content and I call it bullshit. Asuch as the style is coherent and quality is decent it'll go. Oh and if not some ripped off shit like Ion Fury textures that some modders have took out from game files anyway. And don't get me started on supplice with their lazy ass way to just blatantly take resources from doom. Yeah okay it supposed to be a mod initially, but, come on, when you advertise your product as something whole and wholly made from scratch - don't fuckin' left the leftovers that distinctively scream that you've just outright re-used doom assets, just made slight alterations to them.

Looks like he removed it due to backlash.
But yea, he really needs to learn how to let go of DW shit. You're not part of it anymore, it's over. Focus on leading DBPs and quality assurance.

I just know he's one of these people that spends his whole life seething about things outside of his control. People like him would do a lot better if they learned to let things go. This excerpt from his post history about his partner basically sums him up which is sad, because he is an excellent map designer and critic/mentor.

Anyways, checking back on this thread encourages me to continue playing through the DBP's. A couple years ago, I grinded through them all up to Auger Zenith, but I've kinda forgotten about them until now.

It's funny how this incredibly odd aside tells you everything you need to know about 40oz as a person, especially when combined with his description of his "partner". Perpetually teen-brained anime nerd who never grew up with delusions of grandeur so detached from reality that they make a schizophrenic digging for tracking chips in his arm look rational. One could almost feel bad for him if he wasn't such a giant asshole, and begging to be let back into a community of narcissists and pedophiles.

Still, I'd really love to live in his personal delusion where the Doom community is actually based and doesn't just worship the ground any genderspecial freak walks on. I guess near-religious reverence just isn't good enough treatment for his speshul lil enbie mutt kween, "she" probably needs money and the ability to instantly kill any chuds who dare observe "her" (in the quantum sense) as well. How tragic that such a person will never be happy.
