LOL, Doomkid's a coward. And to think, he wasn't a sperg in other Doom-related sites until poking a bit from his Troonworld profile and posts revealed his dirt. Didn't know how much of a dumbfuck he is to use the same username from Troonworld and expect people to like his bullshit. How to make Doomkid delete his DB account... He loves to ask the questions, but when it's time for him to answer, he bounced.

Niggers.Funny complaining about Kiwifarms when dn has had an account here while he was still actively moderating at DB.
actually mordeth made a new thread, 4 pages long https://www.doomworld.com/forum/top...ards-and-the-dbps-future-on-doomworld/?page=4but they deleted EVERYTHING and thankfully Biz took this one
Funny. Here's what this cuckoltard have wrote in split-thread btw.How to make Doomkid delete his DB account... He loves to ask the questions, but when it's time for him to answer, he bounced.

On the topic of AI and Doom, I wonder when someone will make a LLM that generates UDMF levels.
Another seething thread has released. This time the KKK are getting their panties in a bunch from someone using AI and *gasp* potentially (though unlikely) making money off free resources provided from the community. As usual, the OP is a weirdo retard as well.
The problem is that any small fuckup would lead to a map that doesn't work, and LLMs aren't very good at precision. There's also a second meta-layer of functionality (actually playing the map, player progressions through the environment) beyond just being syntactically correct enough to load. It would be very easy to have the LLM make a map that will load, but isn't actually completable because, for example, a critical key isn't reachable or a door can't be opened because the sector doesn't have a switch with the proper tag to open it, or something. There's probably tens of thousands of maps on idgames, and it should be possible to automatically convert them to UDMF, which is a human-readable, text-based format. Plenty of input to train a model on.
Code generators have become quite good at creating valid code that compiles properly. They can even generate unit tests, and then prompt themselves to progressively fix up errors. The problem is that any small fuckup would lead to a map that doesn't work, and LLMs aren't very good at precision. Still, I'd like to see someone try. Maybe I'm wrong and those issues can be worked out easily.
Yeah but this is talking about games that are considerably simpler than the average Doom map, in terms of what you might call "geometric and gameplay complexity". Code is also more structured (specifically in a linear way that makes generating valid extensions onto already valid examples easy) than UDMF data, which is essentially just lines and points that represent some higher-level structure that the LLM can't conceive of. It looks similar on the surface but the actual mathematical properties of the problem are vastly different.Code generators have become quite good at creating valid code that compiles properly. They can even generate unit tests, and then prompt themselves to progressively fix up errors.
There's examples of LLMs that generate small game applications without needing any manual input. So I think the matter of creating a valid map that can be loaded by the game is very much solvable.
It's probably just because you're vocal so an easy target. Nothing wrong with that but it gives people an easy figure to point at I guess. What other newcommers have i chased away?
Whoa whoa whoa whoa. Slaughter can* be good. After playing all DBPs up till 69th, I just don't think they deserve to be even mentioned on the site that defends pedophiles, has avatars with underage furry children kissing mouth to mouth, promotes slaughter gameplay that doesn't respect player's time and patience, sucking Bethesda's cock and defending a port that doesn't come even close to the quality of GZDoom or even DSDA, grooms children but bans/locks threads with normal discussions they don't like with a pretentious line 'I'm done with this. Thanks.' at the end, has men in dresses discussing wads in a 'girly' way, Mordeth being too lazy to make a sequel to... well... Mordeth for 30 years and possibly much more.
Whoa whoa whoa whoa. Slaughter can* be good.
Just when you thought you couldn't hate these lunatics enough. These people are just slowly turning themselves into reclusive freaks.
