Yea, I found that very strange. A vanilla megawad that can't run vanilla due to breaking many of its limits. Like, wtf? lol

He could've avoided all of this by just mapping in limit removing compatibility. It's literally the same thing except all limits are removed.

Thanks to mbf21, patching out death exits became as easy as changing some sector properties. Automatically

Now that Zacharin has mentioned the Russian community project, I heard a few times that Doomworld don't go along with the Russian side of the Doom community and I'm curious. Why is that? What exactly happened between the two?

Why bother giving credit to actual good mapping work, when you can give it to another epileptic seizure with no textures and "le deep tortured soul" map titles that only brainrotted art fags will enoy? Its tedious, but also makes me think it'd be quite easy to hoodwink these morons by outdoing them at their own game. Anyone could make this hall-of-mirrors void bullshit. Only Lainos could have made Lainos' map in Thirty Years With Doom.

Say what you will about the Russian Doom community but having played some of their maps, they have more talent than the rest of Troonworld combined. I don't think they engage in drama and faggotry that much compared to the other side.

@Zacharin X I almost posted this one myself, but "another moron with nothing to show for himself starting a community megawad" didn't strike me as much of a happening personally. It was still worth posting though, to laugh at how the OP didn't even understand the concept of submitting maps in a thread.

Yeah, there's nothing substantial going on right now, but me and Article have been sharing these types of threads for awhile now, and i couldn't let this one go... especially the "Oh sorry, i din't know you can submit your maps in the thread" part. This shows that he never even took the time to see how CPs are being managed on DW, but still thought it would be a good idea to start his own.

Joined a project last May. Built my map, it's pretty big but so are most of the other maps in the project, no complaints. I mention several times I may have gone overboard and am willing to make changes if told. Nothing. Project lead announces it's going on hold and disappears.

Nah, not changing shit. I finished that 10 months ago. If I'm opening Doombuilder it's for a DBP, otherwise I'm building a DND campaign.
