Lifting is an activity that is fundamentally about individual self-improvement through concerted effort. This is toxic to the leftist doctrine, which asserts that your problems are the result of societal issues, and that nothing you do can change your situation, which can only be solved by tackling said societal issues (by voting for our candidates and giving us money of course).

Basically, it’s about removing personal agency and accountability to create a subservient underclass who clings to your every word believing that you’ll solve their problems for them. The very concept of self-improvement through discipline and hard work is antithetical to that worldview.

The new Doom game sucked and for all of the edgy mods of Doom you have to look hard. I've said it a while back, but once Graf's gone, I really, really doubt there'd be anyone "normal-minded" (cause really, you have to be a bit on the spectrum to do anything with an oldass engine source port for this long) and competent enough to pick up that mantle, given it's years of stuff to take care of on the way. But hey, there's plethora of programmer socks wannabes just THROBBING waiting to add pronouns to the engine!... which implementation got gunned down in the blaze of glory, on the premise of being shit, so that should give you enough of an idea with what kinda potential talent to take up on it we're dealing with here. Anyone else who's normal enough, trying to deal with this kind of shit, would quickly give up or cave in.

Can't quote your post directly but right now all signs points to yes about Byuu faking it thanks to that report. Despite Hector's pathetic lie of telling that Byuu's death didn't make the cutoff, it doesn't change things much since he did say that actually died on 27th with the police report making it on that day. Sure there might be a chance that the report being late, but one problem is this is Japan. A country known for having an anal approach to this field of work. But yeah, this is still speculation tier and there's possibility that it may have actually been submitted late.
