I hate how every new hero for the past few years has insane mobility baked into one (or multiple) abilities. I usually play 5-3 depending on the stack, and I've been playing on and off for 6 or 7 years, so I tend to stick to the older heroes.
So I'll just be chilling stacking camps for my carry as like witch doctor or some shit, when all of a sudden void spirit teleports on me from 2 screens away, Marci leapfrogs off his head, primal beast runs over the cliff and tard slams me into the mud, and dawnbreaker orbital strikes me just to make sure the camps I stacked die.
Space created though.

Power creep is legit. If I have to lane against one more marci + viper lane, I´m going to send packages, like good old Ted K., to the steam headquarter (in Roblox ofcourse).

has anyone been trying rubick mid, idk if it can work at all in games that are not immortal, seems a bit too reliant on your team to work for even 1 game which sucks cuz rubick carry is really fun

The intro song from the last MATI made me nostalgic since I used to play a crapload of support during that era and I feel the urge to make people mad with AA's ultimate. Do people still play goofy workshop modes nowadays or is it a complete deadzone like TF2?

Patch is out my dudes. Item changes seem reasonable and the new items look fun, RiP Keen Optic tho.

There are plenty of new shard abilities, and interesting ability reworks.

I'm looking forward to see Centaur back in the meta.

Fucking dota. I used to play omniknight. One time I hit his ult that makes everyone invincible at the perfect time in the last push into the enemy base, causing us to win. My team all complimented me and told me how clutch I was. I got commendations from everyone else at the end of the match and my brain exploded with dopamine.

I then preceded to chase this moment for the next 50 hours before realizing that it might never come again. Games like this are really good at rewiring your brain because those dopamine spikes are fucking powerful, man. I got to be a dorky, spergy version of Lebron James hitting a buzzer beater, if only for a moment.

That's the purple dragon of dota. Just keep playing, give up your rl so you hit the spot sooner.

New Shadow Fiend will be insane:

I don't know about the jail bait hero. But isn't viper whole trick lane domination or that changed?

Well good to see icefrog's balance. And this isn't irony.

I like the game and the balance changes, but every player is a brain dead retard.

I like to play support, but it's disappointing to see how many of my good starts can be completely negated by retarded players. Stacking camps end up eaten by enemy mid/carry, carry doesn't know how to freefarm or never buys BKB, and gets chainstunned by enemy carry, etc etc.

Yes it is. But Marci just enables this Hero to almost any lane being auto lost. I dont even know what you can really do against this combo.
The reposition from marci with her huge initiaton range of her W is all viper needs to send the enemy core into the jungle on min 4.
Not sure if this is still super broken after the marci changes but I dont see why it wouldn´t be. They just swapped the CC effects from Q and E. The dispose now slows and the leap stuns.
Luckily I didnt need to play against that many Marcis.

My personal winner of this patch is the cringe furry Hoodwink. The changes of Aghs and Shard are super fun. The new Decoy is worth getting for 4.2k gold after you got some basic stuff.
Also having a break in this meta with Bristelback is nice.

Been having fun just doing dumb builds in 12v12 and seeing what I can get away with. Initiating by suiciding into the enemy as Undying with the upgrades that give you aegis every 5 minutes and make you drop a tombstone on death and then just force staffing out after the revive is silly.

I still can't believe the performance is as bad as it is though. I thought Reborn's whole shtick was threaded loading yet I've had it hard lock repeatedly.

I loved the old Decoy. This is good, but her old scouting and face-checking ability was sublime. Way better than this one.

I also miss Scurry invisibility. Evasion is super annoying though. Way more efficient, way less fun to play.

Boomerang is still useless, but the 1400 price makes it reasonable?

I get hard locks too! It's really annoying.

I agree, the scouting possibility was great for mid to late game but that is 1.4k gold for mobile vision that can possible disable an enemy. My issue with the old decoy was that is was super inconsistent.
Most of the time I just threw it into a team fight and hoped it got killed by some aoe. Most players only attack that thing once in a match. Its just like with blink, you can only suprise them once, then they know and learned.
For 1.4k gold you get another nuke (200mgc. dmg) that slows for 20% and increases 20% mgc. dmg taken. In my book, this great value for a shard. Sure, maybe not the best shard in the game but certainly not one of the worst.

I played around in testing with him and a full combo of spells with aghs and shard, without another target for acorn to bounce between, you can deal around 3k dmg in a couple of seconds, apply a break, disable and blind the enemy and make them take more magic dmg. Late game I tend to pick the bigger bushwack radius so I can tie more people up and hit them with the boomerang. Maybe the shard is not worth in a match where you have no magic dmg to amp, then it might actually be smart to go for something else.
That is what I love about the hero, you are super flexibel in your builds and you stay relevant trough every stage of a match.

This battlepass looks pretty uninteresting to say the least. I guess it's sort of new that they are dividing it into two parts, but I am not motivated to spend any money on it so far. The only thing I would want is the Jug skin from the Cavern Crawl, but I could also live without it too.

Today I sleep darted a faceless void who didn't pop BKB before landing an absolutely massive chronosphere on my team. We then immediately turned the fight on its head. that single dart won the match.
