I'm not sure how I feel about this patch. Good riddance PL, but God damn Spectre is gonna be everywhere again

Man just the design looks like fun. I loved Tahm Kench and Bard when I played League. Shame I'm too old now to ever play a game again.
Play deadlock it's like dota mixed with Tf2 and it isn't like sticking your cock in the pain box from dune for forty five minutes to an hour and a half of suffering

Don't get me wrong I love dota 2 but it's in the way like a masochist loves getting his balls crushed with a rope and a hole in a chair

I really wish they'd stop cycling neutral items. So many have similar effects as older retired items, I'd rather they simply alter the effect instead of making a completely new item that only sticks around for a few months.

A lot of the cycled items are always shit or broken items. We all know helm of the undying and sister's shroud were broken. No one bothered getting gale guard. Spark of courage was always an item you could keep for a few tiers on a few heroes (huskar, troll, jakiro especailly). Outworld's staff required pro levels of reaction time to be any good.

Honestly, I just wish they would switch all nuetral items over having passive effects or situational effects (like necronomicon), cause me and my people tend to forget that we have the items when they're use items. Passives are always good, and items like necro you know when to use them and it's not heat of the moment.

Medallion of Courage was something I ran on a bunch of characters because nobody else would get it. If someone picked PA way back when I'd get MoC on Dazzle and watch the enemies get absolutely fucking dazzled with -99 armor. Their brains could not process the level of dazzling I dished out. PA just thought he was hot shit but that's the true dazzling: even the allies were dazzled into false confidence

Nah this still happens, game needs a lot of work and cheat detection for the toggle-able aimbots, wallhacks, and slide macros. I'm personally waiting for the base update before bothering again

I always got it on Bounty Hunter alongside urn, was nice roaming around watching enemies with negative armor melt and granting my team extra gold.

That shit was insane on visage when I gave enough of a fuck to micro that motherfucker, you basically ran into people with your 2 gargoyles on the side, grave chill > medallion > stun x 2 > nuke, easy kills on offlane or mid

My boy Clockwerk got a unnoted change to Expanded Armature, now enemies can just walk out of the cogs. They can just leave lmao. I hope this is a bug because he's absolute trash now; EA was the only facet with a decent winrate, he's a 45% winrate hero without it.

Edit: They just fixed it. He's back.

My games have gotten so much less mentally taxing once I realized that my teammates are Somalian levels of inbred and can't be trusted with forks around electrical outlets.

Also new hero is aids to play vs if the enemy team realizes that they can use the movespeed boost to just walk away from most bad engages. Largo lets you take a fight, decide you don't like it and just step back to heal up and try again. Feels like playing against oracle tbh.

Can somebody recommend me a comprehensive (and not outdated) guide on DotA items? I want to get a better understanding of what they all do and when to buy them instead having to rely on friends' advice and in-game hero guides constantly.
My favourite heroes are Spirit Breaker, Shadow Shaman, Lion, Silencer and Nature's Prophet because they are easy to learn and have funny abilities with which you can dunk on enemies epically or lose with style. If you guys have any funny guides for those I'd watch them as well.
Just don't be toxic and you're fine.
I literally scream "NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER" at the top of my lungs whenever we get an occasional foreigner in the lobby and spam chat, nothing ever happens and my good boy scores are still above 9k. I also played quite a few long and atrocious matches that drew out beyond the 90 minute mark because I fed like 27 times throughout the match and again, nothing happened afterwards.
It's easy for me to get away with this because I'm a noob and almost always play this game with friends so they talk our teammates out of reporting me for me and we also do +rep to each other constantly LOL.

This, I just never pick active items because I know I won't ever remember to use them.

For the most up to date builds this website is good: https://dota2protracker.com/ It takes info from high MMR matches so you can see what tends to get built in those games, skill builds, facet choices too. I often look up my hero and put it on a second screen to refer to as the game goes on if I'm not sure exactly how best to build it these days.

For actually learning the best current ways play specific heroes, watching streams of high mmr/pro players is okay, or in client watch some live high mmr games that you see include the hero you want to focus on and watch their perspective.

friendly reminder that this is an extremely complex game and there are millions of edge cases, also if you get mad at your team for getting something wrong you are a massive faggot. anyone wanna play with me pm low rank but i think im decently good and will never hold mistakes against you (guardian-crusader rn).
